Switchfoot will be on tonight’s episode of Conan, where they will be performing “Dark Horses,” the rocking first single from their newest album, Vice Verses.
And, recently at a concert in Phoenix, Arizona, Taylor Swift invited Switchfoot lead-singer Jon Foreman onstage to perform with her. Swift introduced Foreman:
“One of my favorite bands happens to be in town, and before their show the lead singer was kind enough to come pay us a visit. Jon Foreman from Switchfoot is here ladies and gentlemen!”
The duo sang one of Switchfoot’s most popular hits, “Meant To Live,” which you can check out thanks to a fan video found on YouTube.
Switchfoot’s co-headlining tour with Anberlin is currently underway. After performing for a packed house at New York City’s Best Buy Theatre last week, lead singer/guitarist Jon Foreman took the show outside, performing atop a newspaper stand for thousands of people in Times Square. Along the tour route, local chapters of StandUp for Kids, a national nonprofit volunteer outreach organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of at-risk, homeless and street kids, will be collecting new and used backpacks at the concerts. The backpacks will be used to distribute food and essentials to kids served by the organization.
