25 days to go

Now that my due date is less than a month away I'm getting very anxious. I'm ready. I ready to hold him in my arms and not in my uterus. It's a long time being pregnant. I want to see his sweet little face and tell him I love him without him having to hear it through his watery cocoon.

My appointment last week was fine. They checked to make sure he is in position, head down and he is. And now start the weekly appointments. My next one will be this coming Friday.

I'm getting as much reading, gaming and cleaning in that I can. I should be getting more sleep, but that's just not possible when you're this big and have to pee all the time.

My friend Tommy and his wife had their little boy on Friday. His name is Thomas Emery Watts, III, he weighs 8lbs 6oz and is 22" long. I am thrilled for them and their family. This is their first child and I know they will both be wonderful parents.

Baby Lily and Baby Watts

This morning I read a letter from Matt and Stacey Ayars. They are in Haiti doing missionary work and every so often they send out newsletters to friends and family.

I must have missed the last one, because I did not know Stacey is expecting! Their little girl is due on December 26, 2008. I read through many of their baby blog posts and found she had been quite ill earlier on in the pregnancy. I am pleased to read she is now feeling better, though she does say very tired and clumsy. (Girl, I hear ya!)

In pictures it looks as though Stacey is not 24 weeks along. While she does have the new Mama glow, she has an itty bitty belly. Bless her heart!

If you all could send out some prayers to Stacey and Matt I am sure they would appreciate it. They are definitely Earth angels and I wish them all the best!

On a side note, I also recently found out a friend of mine from high school, Tommy, and his wife Kristen are expecting. Their bundle of joy is due on April 24, 2008. Tommy wrote recently on his Facebook profile that he heard the baby's heartbeat and what a cool feeling that was. I am very excited for them and their growing family as well.

Isn't it exciting to know all these new blessings are going to be in the world soon?

Carrie and Jonathan had their second child on August 31, 2008. Olivia Grace was born at 3:47 a.m. and weighed 8 lbs 11 oz. She is 21.5" long! They are all doing well, though sound tired each time I check in on them. I am very proud of Carrie's daughter Charlotte who will be 3 years old in December, because she is doing her best to be a great big sister!
