When I saw this fabric I knew I had to get it and make something for my Mom. So I plugged away and am happy with the results. I made a bag, with a pocket and liner. It's pretty durable and it looks great. I'm super impressed with myself. It took awhile and there was a lot of seam ripping until I figured out what the heck I needed to do. But I'm still enjoying sewing very much. It is a hobby I wish I had started earlier in life.Now I am making a dress. I cut out the pattern pieces and fabric. Tonight I'll start putting it together. It's a vintage McCall's pattern and I'm psyched. I can't wait to see how it will turn out.
