Me thinks I might have to start a sewing section, but right now I'll incorporate my projects on here. Mind you, my sewing machine is just a little over two weeks old now so everything is turning out kind of crooked and thread happy.
So far I have crafted an
apron, two pillows, a tote bag for my goddaughter, a bone shaped toy for my doggie and a tote bag for myself. The picture you see on this entry is the bag I finished yesterday and it is the one I think I'm going to keep for myself. It looks great except for around the handles. I didn't know how to sew them on to be inconspicuous. So you can see all the crooked stitching where they are attached.
Last night I cut out the pieces for a pajammie pattern and am going to attempt to make "space" pajammies for my little boy. He picked out the fabric himself and so he is very excited.
We'll see how it goes. In my travels from sewing blog to sewing blog I came across these
baby shoes and I definitely want to try making them , maybe not next but in the near future. I think I'll look around for some leather scraps before I try out the pattern.
