There isn't really a good explanation to what
bomomo is meant for or why it was made. It is an artsy design application created by Philipp Lenssen.
You draw and can then save your masterpiece. I know what you're thinking, what is so special about bomomo? There are plenty of sites which allow free style drawing to create your own art. However, this is the first one which gave me 20 options of drawing styles without giving me the option of color.
Though I like having a color option, this kind of liberates you, because you don't have to follow a scheme, you just go crazy, you just draw.
Try it out, pick a tool or pick them all and get to drawing. I'm posting one I did. Snazzy, huh?

This has to be the coolest (or as Brae would say Cooliest) children's rocking chair I have ever seen!
This rocking chair made especially for your child artist has a pencil box armrest with sliding lid, a "flip-down" drawer beneath the seat for paper, markers, crayons and other art supplies and rotating color wheel at the top. The back of the chair which you sit against is also an 8 x 10 frame where your child can store their most favorite work of art for all to see (when they're not busy rocking of course).
Plus on the seat it has a cute little poem, "Apples are Red, Oceans are Blue, I love to make pictures, Especially for you! So give me some paper, I'll put on my smock, And start my next masterpiece, My Art Rocks!"
How perfectly adorable is that!?
Unfortunately it is too small for my little boy, but man he so would have had it if I had known about this a couple years ago!
Here's a link of you are interested in reading more about it!

Perhaps due to resolutions, I have been reading a lot lately about people trying to reduce clutter, clean closets, stay organized, etc. But today I came across a designer who weeks to add a little bit of disorder to your life.
WARDROM hangs on your wall like a painting, but looks more like a torture device. Sticking out from the panel are many spikes of different colors. The idea is to throw your clothes at it, on it, whatever, and there they will hang until you next wear them.
You can watch a
video on the designers website. They who created this fantastic artsy wardrobe piece are Gabriel Berretta, Simone Bartolucci and Valerio Ciampicacigli. The three have simplified names and called their design company "Paula." I chuckle at the name, but revel in their craftiness.

Maybe the wisp of hair is too tight or maybe his jaw hurts from the drastic underbite, either way this little blue something definitely looks mean. Hahaha. I would put him on my desk at work, scare people away and have him speak for me. There is also a little green sour dude.
These little guys are made by Cindy of
CLBcreations and only cost $7, such a great deal for something so cutely handmade. =o) She also sells polymer clay art that is just awesome. I can imagine animations with these characters, Pixar needs to look her up pronto.

Victoria Vintage Home has such a plethora of tempting hone accents and furniture. It's almost dangerous for me to look through their website. The will power it requires not to want to make a purchase!
They have repurposed a variety of old lab glass in turned them into lamps.
The price ranges from $65-$105.
They also have very cool mobiles that are in bright colors to make a room look fun and artsy. Love it, love it!
