What she says, "Much like a crow, I like things that sparkle, so naturally, I was drawn to beads. Swarovski Crystals to be exact."
Well heck woman fly on because your love for things that shine has aided you in creating some of the most uniquely darling items of jewelry I have ever seen. And I'm not much of a jewelry person. Truly. I hardly wear any bling at all, but I'm definitely going to be showing off some earrings from your shop.
In addition to delightful earrings, like the pair shown in this post, she also makes her own soy candles in flavors like "Sex on the Beach" and "Southern Summer" which just sounds so delicious and amazing. Earrings for $14 and candles that burn for 60+ hours for only $8. Come on, it's a steal!
The name of the game is
Auntie Di's and there is no reason to linger here any longer. Head to her online shop and be prepared for some much needed spending.

Valentine's Day has become such a silly and commercialized holiday, but this year a "
A Pretty Rock" made all the difference. =o)
From now until February 14th, all orders over $40* at A Pretty Rock, will get a free pair of Filigree Heart Circle Drops Earrings. Okay so there I go being silly, but you have to see these earrings, they are just so cute! Of course supplies are limited so now that you know you should head to their site before it's too late.
"A Pretty Rock creates one of a kind or limited edition pieces of jewelry. Brought to life with carefully selected gemstones, mineral stones and freshwater pearls, the collection is meant to lend affordable, quality elegance to all."
It all reminds me of when I was a little girl and my parents bought me a rock tumbler. Talk about silly. Haha. The tumbler was so small and it took ages to get those rocks looking like smooth gems, but it was fun.
Anyhoo. If you are a gal who isn't really into jewelry (except my earrings, a girl can never have enough earrings) then "A Pretty Rock" can dazzle you with simple, yet beautiful jewelry. Each piece is unique, too, which is something important to me when it comes to accessories. But I like how this jewelry is made with hand chosen gems and crafted with care. And I bet if you wear something from "A Pretty Rock" you'll be asked where you got it and told that it is lovely. So if you don't like compliments, don't bother looking. ;o)

"Understood only from within. Excellence within oneself. That ONE Thing you are good at. The One thing you are meant to do...supposed to do. The ONE Thing that DEFINES YOU. This is Arete.
Become what you are..."
That is the first paragraph on Beth's Etsy profile. Her jewelry crafting began when she was in a low point of her life. She started creating jewelry from stained glass pieces she found. People would like them so much she ended up selling some right off her neck.
Now she creates all sorts of jewelry from necklaces to earrings and even purses from time to time.
Arete is the place to keep up with the crafts and the store is online with Etsy.
Currently, there are fabulous pieces with a Valentine theme. They are so adorable so get one while they last. Most items are under $20 with some even under $15 so they go fast.

You all know I love earrings. I can't help it, it's the only kind of jewelry I really enjoy wearing and changing. My favorite piece of jewelry of course is my engagement ring, but that is something that will never change. =o)
Air Delights has a fantastic selection of very unique and beautiful earrings. I stumbled across the page and am now bookmarking it because I love the crafts here. The site is in dire need of a redesign, but that is beside the point.
You can buy everything you see on the site, you just call the Bob or Sharon and they will get in touch with you so you don't have to put your credit card information online. But they also travel the country selling their jewelry at arts hows. This coming weekend they will be in Algonac, Michigan and Romeo, Michigan for two different shows.
Then in December they are taking almost the entire month for a trip to Thailand for some gem buying. How cool is that!?

A lot of people think my diamond ring is an antique, because it has very intricate details and appears to be quite vintage. Although it is absolutely gorgeous, intricate and vintage looking, it is not an antique. Antique jewelry is hard to come by, at least here in Delaware where I live. But it doesn't take long before even the old merchandise ends up getting into the new trends.
Lang Antiques offers one of a kind fine, high quality antique jewelry and estate jewelry...and you can see all of their
vintage jewelry online. Yes, you can also shop on their site, too. They have exquisite jewelry, oh my gosh, you have to see their earrings. There isn't anything I can afford right now, but I am absolutely in love with a pair of diamond drop earrings on their site.
The owners claim to suffer from a severe buying disorder, so their inventory is constantly changing and updating. When I saw that is how they described their passion I had to chuckle because it sounds like a lot of gals I know.
If you are wondering about how you can trust buying an antique online you should know all jewelry purchased for over $1,500 comes with a point of sale appraisal. And they absolutely stand by their items, but will refund your money with an apology if you find a piece is misrepresented in any way.
I found their site even more interesting when I saw the "Antique Jewelry University". They have information on all the different decorative periods dating back to 1714 which is pretty cool. Definitely worth looking through if you're into learning about the history of pieces.

Yes, yes I love the brand Forever 21. They seem to always have the most unique selections of clothing and accessories, and they aren't too expensive either. I remember one Christmas my Mom bought me a cream colored cable sweater from them and I absolutely loved it!
They have some retro looking items in their line-up now and this necklace is one of them. I'm not much for jewelry...well, except for earrings and my gorgeous engagement ring. =o)
But I simply adore this necklace! And the best part is you can scoop it up
online for under $7!

So let's learn a little bit about my jewelry tastes. I love earrings, we know that. I have...eight earrings in my ears and a navel piercing. It is so easy to find earrings for your ears, but when it comes to body jewelry things get a little bit more tricky.
Gold body jewelry is not my thing, though I bet during the summer it would look great to have
gold Body jewelry with a tan.
I like silver and so right now my navel is one of those simple curves with a blue ball in the center and a silver ball at the top that screws on. I'm always looking for something more trendy to wear though, something more me.

I tried a reverse navel ring before and it didn't go well. Apparently my belly button is not happy with reverse rings, it gets frowny. Fresh Trends has this really cool Titanium
rainbow twister that I think would look great and add a little bit of colorful flair.
But while I was looking through their site, I saw a ton of great jewelry that is making me want a nose ring even more than before! But they have this line called "
The Black Line" and their earrings are very goth looking. All of the earrings are unique, some colorful and some not. These are pieces which you wouldn't find anywhere else except for on Fresh Trends, so check them out and get to shopping. "The Black Line" is on sale right now!
Just a quick FYI, they also have toe rings, belts and t-shirts. So there's a little something for all the trendy shoppers out there. =o)

You know how in one of the Home Alones, either the 1st or the 2nd (which are really the only "real" ones) Kevin's mom pleads with an older lady to trade her plane tickets so she can get home faster?
She offers her first-class seats for later in the week, cash and even her earrings. But the older ladies husband says "She has tons of earring, a whole box full, dangly ones." Hahaha.

Reminds me of me. But I don't have a box I have what is supposed to be a sugar container. It's stainless steel with a flip up lid, you know, like you would put sugar or flour in. So all my tons of dangly earrings can get tangled up.
Today I fished out really cute ones to wear with my yellow summer dress. And seeing my collection this morning made me all girly, silly and smiley. So I'm surfing the net for some new ones to add to the sugar cylinder.
The cute cherry ones are from
Lulu Smith. And the floral domino earrings are from
deciduoussoul's Etsy shop.
