This
contemporary bookcase from Dar en Art that looks like a snowflake is something really interesting, especially if you want a bookcase that has an original design.
I love it!!!
The piece has a diameter of 140cm and is available in white or black, and provides a creative method for the organization of your items. The unique design creates interesting pockets of storage providing a creative method for the organization of your items.
Another interesting design for your home is the
Bubblicious fruit bowl. The bowl is comprised of varying volumes of spheres, that allows you to place fruits of different sizes, in a way that enables to position the object in a new equilibrium each time, due to the change in the center of gravity. The fruit bowl design is really innovative and can easily make your fruits look really good.
Or perhaps you'd like a bowl made of bicycle chains? This
bicycle chain bowl can be a great gift for someone who love bikes. Or for someone who just likes collecting interesting home decor. Measuring 10 in diameter, this bowl is made of real recycled bicycle chains.

Perhaps due to resolutions, I have been reading a lot lately about people trying to reduce clutter, clean closets, stay organized, etc. But today I came across a designer who weeks to add a little bit of disorder to your life.
WARDROM hangs on your wall like a painting, but looks more like a torture device. Sticking out from the panel are many spikes of different colors. The idea is to throw your clothes at it, on it, whatever, and there they will hang until you next wear them.
You can watch a
video on the designers website. They who created this fantastic artsy wardrobe piece are Gabriel Berretta, Simone Bartolucci and Valerio Ciampicacigli. The three have simplified names and called their design company "Paula." I chuckle at the name, but revel in their craftiness.

Oh just face it, this shelf is adorably awesome.
I'm a huge magnet lover anyway so this shelf had me at hello. I realize you couldn't have it anywhere near electronics or monitors of any kind because it would destroy them, but hopefully you have plenty of other wall space.
"Depending on number, size and arrangement of the boxes, there is a new shelf everytime you change it."
People rearrange their furniture when they need a change of pace. Well now they can also easily reorganize their shelves! You can choose to have natural birch wood, or it comes in white, black and red.

You know you're going to need shelves in a home, it's inevitable, there's just not enough floor space in the world for all your books, movies and gadgets.
So mentally prepare yourself by doing some fun shelf browsing. Okay? Ok.
But what is even better than fun shelving, is when you can incorporate shelves with seating. Oh yes, multi-tasking furniture is my friend.
Here we have a
daybed that has storage underneath. I for one think if you placed this against a wall and propped up some big pillows, this could easily be a couch with storage for blankets or magazines.

Sometimes tight spaces, low funds and the need for organization mean you need to get a little bit crafty with that you've got laying around.
Recently on Rachel Ray she had someone on the show to tell the audience members and viewers some inexpensive tips on organizing in all places of your home, from kitchen to garage. She mentioned using peg boards and I didn't really think anything of it until I heard it mentioned again today from someone else.
You can use a
metal pegboard in your kitchen. It doesn't just have to be for tools out in the shed. You can buy cheap little hooks, attach them to a peg board and hang kitchen utensils that way. You might think it is silly but think about what a chef's kitchen in a fancy restaurant looks like. Don't they have a lot of walls with pots and pans and spoons hanging? They do, and essentially, the background of those walls are
metal pegboards. These days the don't just come in different shades of metal either. You can get pegboard from hot pink to red, white and blue for an American theme.
Some
metal pegboards are only $25, so it doesn't have to get pricey like other organizational equipment and shelving. Might be a way to go, so write this tip down. =o)

I have a trillion books, because I love to read.
But it's hard to find a place to put them all and then we get the cluttered stacks all over the room. At the same time, I don't exactly have the floor space for more book shelves. See the problem?
Well,
Better Living Through Design, has amazing furniture and they also happen to have some pretty snazzy, modern looking shelves. I don't want something boring after all.
Their
Net Shelves, pictured in blue here attach to the wall with 3 invisible supports. You can get them in other fun colors too, like orange and white.
Or what about
hexagonal shaped shelves? When you can fit shelves together in a unique and creative way it instantly adds character to your room while getting things off the floor!
