"I'm passionate about recycling, vintage, salvaged and natural materials and turning them into beautiful things for the home. I believe that good design needn't cost the earth."Ruth is the creator behind TwilightSpells. She is inspired by the beautiful things around her in nature, even something as simple as walking through a Lavender field can pique her muse.
She recently went to Lavandula, a Lavender Farm in Hepburn Springs. She said, "They have a lovely shop where their Lavender products are sold and for a small entrance fee you can have a look at the whole property. The place has a really nice feel about it, it is like a peaceful oasis in a hectic and busy world."
Ruth originally lived in Germany, but love brought her half way across the world when she married her husband. Now she is located in Melbourne, Australia and as most of us know they are experiencing tragic brush fires in that area due to not only drought, but also the work of horrible arsonists. The death tolls have been rising by the day. For those living in that area she is offering prayers and discount in her TwilightSpells Etsy Shop.
What drew me to Ruth's work were her Vintage Twist tea cup candles. I think they are stunningly beautiful and warm. The product description says, "Bring the cosy feeling of old world charm into your home on a cold winter's night... or just any night you would like a bit of twilight magic." How enchanting does that sound!?
The candles are made just for you, so you choose the scent. Made of soy wax, they should burn from 15 to 20 hours which means plenty of time to enjoy the fragrance and the ambiance.
Be sure to check out TwilightSpells on Etsy and grab a tea cup candle, they are VERY affordable and simply delightful!
