The Associated Press printed a story a few hours ago about how 990 bills for wire taps have been shut down because the FBI did not pay their bill. You can read the report official audit report
here.
"Telephone companies have cut off FBI wiretaps used to eavesdrop on suspected criminals because of the bureau's repeated failures to pay phone bills on time."
For those of you who are just plain unaware the (The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) "conducts undercover activities as part of its mission to detect and deter terrorist attacks and foreign intelligence threats and to enforce the laws of the United States."
It was the Inspector General from The Department of Justice Office who decided to have the FBI audited after one of their agents allegedly stole $25,000 in confidential case funds intended for undercover telecommunication services.
Lol.
Apparently the FBI did not have a comment when first approached about this situation. My guess is they'll either never have a comment OR we'll receive the comment after they get a red letter stamped 90 days past due! Let's end with a quote from
Ayn Rand, "So you think that money is the root of all evil. Have you ever asked what is the root of all money?"
