I firmly believe everyone needs a Tetris ice cube maker.

Tetrice was designed by Martin Zampach and right now, it is just a concept. But the designer is actively looking for a partner to put the trays into production.

So all you entrepreneurial folks need to hop on this one. Get to it!

You don't even need me to tell you that I had a virtual pet when I was younger (last year haha). It was a puppy in a blue digital case and I brought it everywhere with me. That thing was VERY needy, but certainly not as messy as a real pup. Anyway, it was fun and all the rage for a chunk of time.

Tamigotchi is back and in full family force. This time you have a virtual family and you have to provide REAL money to take care of them. It's a bank with a small screen on the front with your virtual person. The more money you add the more the person grows and advances through life. Eventually your virtual dude or dudette can end up married and living in Maui. It's completely up to you and how much you save.

The site responsible for this technology is written in Japanese, so I don't know anymore details than this, but how wicked cool! I am thinking Braeden will need something like this when he gets a bit older. It seems like an awesome learning tool. I do wonder how long it would take before a child or adult gets bored though. And if you don't have money for a week or so does your person die or get divorced or something? I suppose it can only be SO real. I think it is a fantastic idea.

When I saw this I immediately thought of Brian, because he always has all kinds of things plugged in and hooked up near his PC, a fan included.

Even with all it's alien like display, it is awfully hard to refute the functionality of having 4 extra USB ports, 2 FireWire ports, a light and a fan all in one gadget.

The LaCie Hub will work across operating systems and comes bundled with everything you could ever need for it to work as intended.

Everyone's familiar with having two knobs in the shower - hot and cold. But what about adding third knob? What would you do with a third knob? Hmm...
The Musical Shower Knob lets you turn on the tunes while you're getting squeeky clean. No more hiding your radio under a towel to prevent sparks from putting a damper on your showering fun. This AM/FM radio is cleverly disguised as a faucet knob (which probably doesn't look like your real knobs anyway). And wouldn't you know, the knob actually controls the volume. No busting holes in your tile - a suction cups secures the knob to the wall. And yes, it's waterproof.

Sony has a new 'Odo' concept camera out on the market.

My digital camera is a Kodak and I have a rechargeable battery that holds a charge for quite some time. I just don't know of this Odo camera could compete, even if it is more energy efficient. Taking pictures of my son are just too important to me and if I picked up my camera only to find it needed to be wound up before I could snap a shot...well...I don't know how I would feel about that.

    What do you think?

    Oh dear Lord.

MasterCard Worldwide today announced the launch of Europe's first watch equipped with MasterCard® PayPass™.

Why would anyone want a wrist watch with a built in credit card?

God forbid you accidentally pass your wrist by a sensor, you'll be charging things left and right and then having to dispute the charges. I would not purchase something like this, I'm far too clumsy. I understand the desire for convenience, but this is a little bit ridiculous.
