My husband, son and I had quite the laugh when we read a recent
Engadget headline which doted a pine-scented laptop.
Yes, that's right, a pine-scented laptop. What would be even sillier would be scratch-n-sniff laptop protector sleeves. Hehehehe, I'm giggling just thinking about it.
I mean I suppose if you don't mind air freshener type smells it could add a nice clean fragrance to your office or dress up the air in the train while you're commuting.
I predict the next scent will be cotton breeze. No really, I think maybe they'll end up with a Nintendo DS which smells like strawberries, color it pink and have Strawberry Shortcake sell it.
I wish you could hear the sound of our five-year-old giggling, it would make this entire post all the more amusing for you.

This particular laptop bag, named "The Generator" is covered in solar panels powerful enough to charge your computer while you're on the move. Compared to other bags of this type, Voltaic's bag generates 14.7 watts of power while the other solar bags generated about 4 watts of power.
Since the bag is mainly made with recycled soda bottles it is essentially waterproof and very durable. Though I don't know about you, but my soda bottles get pretty pliable and very hot when I have them out in the sun. I imagine you'd have to have this laptop bag in direct sunlight for quite some time to generate that much power. Don't you think?
This lovely bag will be available sometime this coming Spring for $599. For more information be sure to check the
Voltaic Systems website.

Now that Braeden is fully engrossed in playing WoW with Brian and I, I have already begun scheming to figure out how we can all play together. Eventually I feel we'll have to go wireless. We have two desktops and two laptops, WiFi and WoW could be fun, but troublesome without the right equipment.
Brae is still getting used to using the keyboard and mouse, moving him to a laptop could be hard. I mean...he isn't even four years old yet and he is already gaming, but there are still limitations. Haha. BTW his undead guy "Codfish" is level 4 after only 2 hours of playing. He's going to end up kicking my butt I just know it.
Vigor Gaming is developing wicked fast and graphic intensive laptops for those of us nerds/geeks out there who need such a thing.
According to the Vigor site, their
Atlantis notebook is the best gaming laptop out on the market. "Powered by dual NVIDIA GEFORCE GO 7950 GTX graphics cards with discrete 1GB DDR-3 video memory employing SLI Technology, the ATLANTIS delivers ultra-high performance in games and brings stunning, high-definition, superb picture clarity."
Aw man that is sa-weet! Too much for my little boy, but someday I just might have to splurge. We'll see how quickly he levels ;o)
