Funky art, good tunes

Oh you know this cover art is far too funky to not find out what "The Rondo Brothers" are all about.

Jim Greer and Brandon Arnovick are "The Rondo Brothers" and you may have heard some of their scores in commercials while channel surfing. They have scored television ads for Toyota, the NHL, the NFL, Chevy, Dodge and several other companies. Their latest and second full length album, Seven Minutes To Midnight, was released by Citrus to Citrus on May 21, 2007.

While they are not exactly my cup of tea, maybe some of you out there will enjoy their hip hop madness. The only band I know to compare them to would be Gorillaz. But you should take a listen and see for yourself. I do think there is a good beat to "Crazed." =o) And their label has said Seven Minutes To Midnight, is a "musical mindscape with fat, mid tempo trip hop beats."
