Acacia Sears album Dialtones will be out on March 13, 2007.

When I listen, I hear Lisa Loeb influences and maybe a little bit of Donna Lewis. That makes me happy, because I love Lisa Loeb. In fact, the name of this blog is all because of her song "Bring Me Up" which I adore.

But we're talking about Acacia Sears right now. And we'll see what other sounds she explores and embraces as she continues to perfect her talents. You can hear her on MySpace. Eventually she will have her own website, but it is currently static with a picture of her stamped with what can only be described as wiccan art. I think that suits her, because her music is quite enchanting. ;o)

Sleepy Records is an independent music label out of Baltimore, Maryland. They are currently working with six different artists which I will have to peruse later since I like Acacias so much.

Fresh and real, this album will be one I keep on repeat for awhile.
