It seems that people are quick to tag a band Indie or Rock or Punk, but you give them a tag that includes the descriptor "Christian" and people get all up in arms.
Barefoot Truth has a funky sound, it's a little bit Indie and yes, I would say they are a crafty, modern, Christian rock band. I would also say they are BY FAR not getting the recognition they deserve.
The album "Changes in the Weather" is very well written, with melodic and catchy songs that will get pleasantly stuck in your head. The acoustics are incredible, I really need to see these guys live. Will Benoit, Jay Driscoll and Andy Wrba reside in Mystic, Connecticut and they are the
Barefoot Truth. You're going to hear bongos and harmonicas intertwined with lyrics that will surely make you feel good. For those readers who need comparisons...I would say that they sound like Brendan Benson or David Mead and maybe even a little bit of Jack Johnson's style. It's just real down to earth, heartfelt music.
