Last night Brian and I took Braeden to see The Fray at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ. This was Brae's first "big" concert. He sat on my shoulders when The Fray came on stage, he swung his arms, clapped his hands, screamed and giggled. It was awesome to witness how excited he was over this show. And he is only 3 years old, I can't wait to see how he is when he is older. There are many more concerts in your future my Brae boy.

Mae was great, too short lived for me though. OK GO was sensational, this is the second time I've seen them live and both times they have been excellent. And of course The Fray was amazing. Isaac Slade owned the piano but his voice suffered due to some sort of allergic reaction which involved a hospital visit yesterday morning. Lucky for us he decided not to cancel the show, but it was obvious his throat was strained. Guitarist Joe King blew me away, his talent is phenomenal and I foresee many solo albums coming from him. They played some new materials which I loved, including an alt. country sounding song called "Dixie."

In honor of last night's sets, here are some songs for you.

Mae - "The Ocean" (mp3)
OK GO - "Do What You Want" (mp3)
The Fray - "She Is" (mp3)

Such a fun night! But I am so sore now from holding Brae and standing on tip-toes so he could see over people's heads. It was well worth it. The three of us had such a blast and our seats were center stage so it was just an awesome show all around for Brae. =o)
