No, I'm not crazy, I know that doesn't make a lick of sense, but it was still fun to type. And so I'm keeping it. **sticks out tongue**
Alex Dupree has been travelling around and moving in and out of towns playing with other bands and running a muck. But in 2007 he came back to the Trapdoor Band and decided to make an album of the journey. It seems as though his head was clouded with a storm and the content of some of the songs is a bit forlorn. The release date for
Las Meridanzas is July 17, 2007.
He remains folky, but has added some more rock and so I must say we're leaning towards alt. country here and I think that's a good thing.
