Patrick Watson and the band behind him bassist Mishka Stein, drummer Robbie Kuster, and former Gangster Politics guitarist Simon Angell, record orchestral pop music at its finest. I've been really big on this type of music lately, the depth and layers of the sound are just genius, I envy their brilliance. Patrick Watson released Close to Paradise in September 2006. If you like anything by Antony and the Johnsons, you'll most likely totally dig this music.
