Wanting and Regret

Maybe I am on a rock'n'roll kick. But this music is bringing me back to the good ol' classic feel of rock, too.

Jason Anderson, more commonly known and recorded as Wolf Colonel, channels Springsteen and James Brown when he's up on stage. His most recent release, The Hopeful And The Unafraid, came out on April 8, 2008 as a follow-up to the 2005 album The Wreath. If you liked the last album you are sure to love this one. Anderson had proven himself to become better with age and consistently superb.

Since stepping out from behind the personal of Wolf Colonel, Anderson has felt as though his music is more true to himself and in better form. As we all know it isn't easy to break free from a name though and many felt his decision was too bold. But I feel the decision was an admirable one and I think he is better for it.
