It's Friday. Not only is it Friday but it's Friday! Come on people! I don't know why, but for some reason this week was just entirely too long and so this Friday feels better than usual.

Why The Telepathic Butterflies? Because there isn't enough about them for me to really want to write a whole post. But the music is different and interesting enough that I wanted to mention them in passing.

This is what you're getting from me today. The Telepathic Butterflies have a lot of great claimed influences including The Kinks, The Beatles, The Who and The Velvet Underground just to name a few. I cannot tell you how often I see those bands named as musical "influences" and it normally doesn't mean jack sh!t. However, in this case, it fits. It fits well.

The band definitely has a late 60s vibe going on which I appreciate. I think you'll find this music is perfect for a long awaited Friday.
