Swedish shoegazers in waiting,
Sad Day For Puppets, release their debut UK single on Monday, March 2nd on Sonic Cathedral. Hailing from Stockholm, they make a rather splendid sound full of fuzz and feedback which while not my cup of tea is still interesting enough to warrant a post.
The double A sided single "Marble Gods"/"Big Waves" will be released on download and limited edition seven inch. The debut album,
Unknown Colours, will follow in May.
Hometown: Blackebourg, Sweden.
The lineup: Martin Kallholm (guitar), Marcus Sandgren (guitar), Anna Eklund (vocals), Alex Svenson-Metes (bass), Micael Back (drums).

In other news, Jem has revealed she wants to collaborate with Eminem on a future track.
The singer has already sent a song to the Detroit rapper, in the hope they can team up in the studio. "It's a track called 'You Will Make It' and I sent it to him with a note saying: 'I think we should hook up'." Jem tells the Daily Star.
