Signed to Dangerbird Records, Silversun Pickups hail from Los Angeles, California. They are truly the whole ideal behind basement rock, and their sound is laden with textured scruff and scraps.

Their latest single "Panic Switch" released last week and it is taking over the music blogs everywhere. It's from their album Swoon which is scheduled to launch on April 14, 2009.

Silversun Pickups worked with producer Dave Cooley (J Dilla, Rolling Blackouts) and mixer Tony Hoffer (Beck, The Kooks) on Swoon, just as they did with Carnavas. Singer/guitarist Brian Aubert says the album "sounds like a nervous breakdown."
