Lekman blurb

Besides having a few songs featured in Drew Barrymore's Whip It , 2009 has been a bit quiet for JENS LEKMAN. But he'll be starting 2010 out right by playing three shows at Chicago's Empty Bottle starting New Years Eve.

They like me, they really like me

In September I reviewed Jens Lekman's new album for Spacelab.

Night Falls Over Kortedala is a genuinely fantastic piece of art for your ears and I felt honored to have been given such a great assignment.

This morning I had an e-mail from Spacelab's editor in regards to that particular review. Turns out that my review is currently being quoted on AOL's Spinner music web site. How wicked awesome is that!?

Lekman news

Come July 31st, Jens Lekman will release the first peek into his much anticipated, forthcoming record. "Friday Night at the Drive-In Bingo" will be available digitally.
