It's not like we necessarily need another britpop indie band from the UK to add to our playlist, because clearly there is some sort of fountain for talent coming from there, but it's not going to hurt to give the Pinstripes a listen.

The band is young and I'm guessing that is the reason for their cliche lyrics and dreamy pop sound, but the fact of the matter is I love what I'm hearing. Maybe it's a chick thing. I'm sure there are swooning girls drawing pinstriped hearts in their notebooks.

Louis Standard: Guitars

All in all, I feel there is potential for them to rise above the comfortably safe familiarity that sometimes seems to constrain young bands.
