Blink the Brightest

Tracy Bonham is a singer and a violinist, she incorporates her two talents to create her music. When her first album released in the early 90s it was an alt-rock themed record. But her most recent album, Blink the Brightest, went a different route; it also released on a different label.

She's not a diva, she's not teeny bop pop music, she's more like a Paula Cole with a violin. I think there needs to be some more harmonizing going on, specifically with vocals because at times her voice sounds too strained for my liking.

But I like that the music is unconcerned, it's innocent and it's real.
