Steely Dan continues to add new summer dates to the "Rent Party '09 Tour," extending the US jaunt through early September.
Since last check, 11 stops have been added to the itinerary, which kicks off June 9 in Durham, NC, and passes through 19 cities before the Sept. 6 wrap-up in Detroit.
In addition to the single-night concerts, four cities--Boston (7/22, 7/24-25); New York (7/28-29, 7/31); Universal City, CA (8/21-22, 8/24-25) and Chicago (8/31-9/1, 9/3-9/4)--will host the veteran jazz-rockers for multiple nights. These special performances, dubbed the "Classic Album (Plus)" nights, will feature one of three landmark albums ("Aja," "Gaucho" or "The Royal Scam") performed in its entirety, as well as other Steely Dan favorites.
