Mazes, a slinky new side-project from Edward Anderson and Caroline Donovan from Chicago psych-pop ensemble The 1900s, is ready to sashay. What started out as Ed's solo album seems to be a more democratic affair...or is it? Either way, while the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree in this case it seems to me to be a much more tender and juicy fruit. Mmmm...juicy fruit.
Mazes self-titled debut will be released March 17th. Available digitally March 3rd. Mazes are playing in Urbana, IL on February 27 (just blocks away from Parasol HQ) and again in Chicago at Schubas on March 12th with...The 1900s. Which means Ed and Caroline will be pulling a double-shift, yikes.
