Right or Wrong

Guitarists Patrick Pentland and Jay Ferguson, bassist Chris Murphy and drummer Andrew Scott are the foursome who make up Sloan. From Nova Scotia, this quartet has been together since 1991. With an intense passion for music they dove into the scene whole-body-first and went on to tour Canada, open for Sonic Youth in the U.S. while also recording their own album and releasing an EP.

Fast forward to the present and you'll see Sloan on top album lists for the year of 2007. Not just any lists, but the big lists...like abcnews.com's Top 50 Albums of 2007. How wicked cool is that? Never Hear the End of It released in the U.S. in January of 2007 and was a smashing success. It had launched earlier in Canada and floored fans with a massive 29 tracks!

Perk your ears up for the artsy, poppy-rock (and often major key repetitiveness) sound of Sloan.
