This evil cold has officially hit the two week mark. Though I'm still coughing and have a headache, I have to say I'm not as sore as I was earlier this week. Thank goodness for some relief.
Brae was an animal again last night. Okay, maybe not an animal but extremely contrary. Sometimes I just don't know what to do other than to tell him he has to go straight to bed without any fun movies. We'll see how tonight goes.
Tuesday night Brian and I went to a viewing. One of his co-workers, Julie, had just gotten engaged and right after that exciting news her brother was in a tragic car accident and he didn't make it. I didn't know anyone there, but it was still hard to be there. We waited in line for nearly two hours just to get into the funeral home. And there were probably another 100 people behind us! When someone so young dies unexpectedly there are no words that can alleviate the grief. Nothing you can say or do will help, it just takes time. Julie was nearly hysterical and I can't blame her one bit. The loss her and her family are suffering from is horrible. My heart goes out to them.
