For my friends and my family

Vroom said the mustang

When you have been driving a 4-door, Jeep Grand Cherokee for five years it is difficult to switch to driving something else. But this morning I had to leave my Jeep at the auto shop...my rental...is a 2-door Ford Mustang. Sure it's fancy, black leather interior and chrome everywhere, Sirius satellite radio...but I feel so phony in it! Not to mention it brakes and accelerates completely different so I feel like I'm learning to drive all over again.

Not to mention this is all happening right after my Black Friday shopping which has the wallet looking slim and the pennies pinched tight.

At least all the guys I dealt with at the shop and the rental place were really nice and sympathetic to my ignorance. (Either that or they are laughing at me now because of how much they plan on charging me).

So when I got to work I poured myself some of their coffee sludge and I heated up some Cinnamon Spice oatmeal. I'm in need of comfort. =o/

It's a shame I didn't get to see you in the 'Stang. I bet you looked hot. You know black looks good on you =o)

I'm glad you got your Jeep back in one day though..talk about a quick turnaround time!!

We had the car in too, only I just waited at the coffee shop next door till it was done. It was a quick fix thankfully.

So, how's married life?

Hey no fair! You already got your dork window fixed! Mine is still taped.

Glad you already have your Jeep back so you don't have to feel phoney anymore. I'm with Brian though. Bet you looked super cute in the Mustang!
