The press picked me up

This is just fun news.
First I must tell you I am having a difficult morning. The roads were icy and I don't handle ice well. I made it to daycare and work safely, but it still gets me all tense when I have to worry about ice. It's hard to see and it tends to me at all the stops and turns.
Plus, Braeden and I battled this morning to get out of the house on time. I wanted to get out of the house early and this messed up his routine so it caused friction. AND I got very little sleep last night because Mya was in her crate and refused to stop barking. So I got up four different times to move the crate and reprimand her and then eventually I took her out of the crate because I wasn't getting any sleep!
However, when I checked my e-mail this morning I was met with a surprise. My publisher at Posh Mama e-mailed to say that two of my past articles had been syndicated to none other than the Chicago Sun-Times! An article I wrote about Kati Mac and an article I wrote about John Legend made it to their paper's website!
The Kati Mac article also got picked up at the Mom Blog Network. Very exciting!
So the ice, the trouble and my freezing cold office don't seem so bad right now. =o)
