Tim Burton's film starring Johnny Depp will be releasing in theaters on December 21st. The tagline is "Never forgive. Never forget." and as usual Johnny Depp looks dark and sinister. As he should since he is Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp teaming up again automatically makes this movie a must see.

It looks like the role Depp plays in this movie could be considered a cross between his Edward Scissorhands and Secret Window characters. It looks like a great movie and the fact that it is a thriller musical makes it all the more interesting to me.

Other noted players in this flick are Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett, Alan Rickman as Judge Turpin, Sacha Baron Cohen as Signor Adolfo Pirelli, and Laura Michelle Kelly as Beggar Woman.

The plot of the story is Sweeney Todd returning to London after escaping the life imprisonment of Benjamin Barker, only to find his wife Lucy and daughter Johanna have suffered at the hands of the very man who had imprisoned him, Judge Turpin. With the assistance of his former landlady, Mrs. Nellie Lovett, Sweeney launches a plan for revenge that initially targets the individuals responsible for his imprisonment, but ultimately draws all of society in his sights.

Having been in prison for 15 years for a crime you didn't commit I can imagine you would stew over how to have your revenge if ever given the opportunity. Then to find your family murdered while you were away, well that would certainly heighten the need.

When you peruse the official move website you will come across a forum of sorts requesting you to make your own confessionals in regards to revenge plots. Intrigued? Visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site.

I have never been one for revenge but if someone ever dared to harm my family I do believe I would want to torture them. Especially if anyone ever laid a hand on my child. Cross my kid and you cross me. I'm peaceful by nature, but I am wicked when angered.

What would send you into revenge mode?
