Emeril is popping back up on the deliciousness spotlight. In ten new books, in fact, through a deal with Martha Stewart Omnimedia Inc. - which owns the rights to the Emeril Lagasse book franchise - and publisher HarperCollins.
The kitchen cheerleader is set to release the first book, an edition on indoor and outdoor grilling, in May 2009, and though he's produced twelve books prior with HarperCollins, this will be Emeril's first in four years.

Robert De Niro was set to star alongside Mel Gibson in the new flick Edge of Darkness. He was cast to play an operative sent to clean up some evidence pertaining to the murder of a young woman. As for Gibson, he's playing the victim's father and is also a homicide detective.
However, things change quickly in Hollywood and De Niro has dropped out!
De Niro actually arrived on set this week and apparently couldn't even last seven days. A spokesman for De Niro simply said, "Sometimes things don't work out; it's called creative differences."

While Scrubs has been surrounded by a lot of sad news about the stars departing from the television series despite its endurance to air another season, fans are still hopeful that the show will come back even stronger with season 8 moving to ABC. This spawns from creator Bill Lawrence's statement that he definitely wants the show to go on forever, or at least until its ninth season.
However, fans are pondering how he would pull this off with stars Zack Braff and Judy Reyes announcing their departure from the show.

In a move that a critic warned would "spark late-night chaos," NBC announced that Jay Leno would leave his spot on The Tonight Show on May 29, 2009. On June 1, The Late Show host Conan O'Brien would take over his spot.
Jimmy Fallon is not worried. The Saturday Night Live alum will take the spot to be vacated by O'Brien next year. At the same time, Saturday Night Live long-time producer Michael Shoemaker will reportedly oversee production on the upcoming Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, after being with Saturday Night Live for 20 years.

Keith Urban loves being a father and has absolutely no problem playing mom and dad to two month old Sunday Rose while her mommy Nicole Kidman is busy filming the movie Australia. He says that he is proud to be a full time Mr Mom during the day and that he loves taking care of the new baby.
