How many sites can I search with to find info about Hotels in San Antonio?

There are a plethora of different travel sites on the web now. But when you go to one of them it takes an instruction manual to get through it. There are so many ads all over the place and it just seems like you need to fight to get through the clutter. What I like about SideStep.com is the consistency and simplicity of the site. It's intuitive and user friendly and I'm not constantly being thrown ads about all the vacation packages I'm not interested in. SideStep.com searches more than 200 sites to find the Web's best travel bargains.

When looking for Hotels in San Antonio the first choice that appears in the search results is not the most expensive choice, but it is one of their top tens. I'm pleased to know that they aren't just pushing the bigger and pricier places. You immediately see the lowest rates, the # of stars the hotel has gotten and where it is located.

Second on the list is the gorgeous Wyndham Saint Anthony Hotel. SideStep offers 43 customer reviews, so you don't have to just read hotel PR jargon. I trust customer reviews, if they had a good time they'll say so, if it was bad service I'll read it.

But it is one of the customer reviews for the Sheraton Gunter Hotel that had me sold. "This hotel made me feel inspired. The history of the place was everywhere! This was a wonderful and picturesque atmosphere located near the Riverwalk..." Then I see it is a 4-star hotel, reasonably priced and is considered to have "western charm with modern convenience." Perfect!

    Don't make me laugh!

Paris Hilton is mentoring British glamour model Danielle Lloyd.

She says, "Paris Hilton has been really good to me. She's given me loads of advice about fame, networking and acting. I even went to her house and it was amazing. She is a real inspiration, a true star. She told me to go for it and crack Hollywood. And if anybody knows how to do that, it's Paris."

And what advice would that be Danielle? I'd like to know. Oy vey!

Kate Nash credits Lily Allen with helping her crack the charts. Before finding fame, Nash befriended Allen on MySpace.com, and the two singers became friends.

She says, "I've met her at music festivals and we've spoken on the phone a couple of times early on, before she got majorly busy and started touring the whole world. She's cool, she's supportive. It was so sweet of her to put out bulletins saying she liked my music."

Hmmm. I'd like to hear what Lily Allen would say about this...oh but wait...wasn't she arrested for kung-fu kicking a member of London's paparazzi...hehe

HerFabLife may still be in BETA version but it's going to be a smashing success. It reminds me of iVillage except it is for a younger crowd of women, trendier, and well, with more time on their hands.

As mentioned on their site, HerFabLife is the "latest social bookmarking community for young urban hip and trendy women who are interested in the latest fashion styles, the newest restaurant, bar, spa, salon, retail store openings, and upcoming events/concerts to hit their town."

When you participate in this network you begin to grow as a considered "expert" in your local community; a sort of guide to the "in" place to go and things to do. Imagine having a world full of girlfriends that share their latest fab finds with you. Essentially, that world now exists because that is the center of the idea behind HerFabLife. The women who choose to converse will be able to share tips on events, restaurants and the best places to shop.

Oh and there is one spot of the site which focuses on the "Hot Guy Of The Week" which is kind of, um, interesting. This week's guy is William Tell, age 27, from Orange County.

I already know this site is getting bookmarked by me because their current find in fashion is one of my favorite online clothing stores "Pinup Girl Clothing." It sounds naughty, I know, but it isn't...not all of it. The clothes are made to look vintage like they are from the 50s and 60s, it's awesome and they have very cute outfits!

So head on over to HerFabLife and register to voice your opinion!

Sometimes I read things that just leave me shaking my head.

The Spice Girls have confirmed they will reform for a world tour to take place in December and January.

What? Why? Didn't they do enough damage to our ears the first time around? And just how much cleavage must be shown to sell out one of their shows?
Earlier this month Mel Chisholm, also known as Sporty Spice, told the BBC she had resisted reforming the group in the past because "it was amazing, it was magical. We could never recreate it".
    Oy vey! Completely delusional.

Or maybe not. I bet there are a lot of 12 year old girls who would like to zig-a-zig-ah...

Please click on this to go and view an awesome banner where you can watch The Police's videos, listen to tracks from The Police's new 2 cd hits collection, enter to win a trip to NYC to see The Police in concert and even view details about their current world tour.

Since I know you can't possibly get tired of hearing about The Police I thought I would let you know I just bought the new Police Cd. The self-titled double disc one that I've been drooling over for ages now. It came out on June 5th and get this, it includes a vintage poster! If you could see my office, you'd see I have posters galore!

For avid fans all around you can behold all the fun stuff, videos, contests, jukebox, ringtones, tour information and forwards to friends at this cool Police banner. I've had to build banners like this, this sucker took a lot of work. So you should look at it, it's all types of interactive. Which is why this post is filed under Entertainment. Because with the videos you can choose from on the banner it is more than just music, it's visual! Listen and drool while you watch Sting at his best. =o) **sigh**

While we're entertaining let me see just how big a fan you are.
What was the last song the band recorded together before the latest reunion tour?
-- Don't Stand So Close To Me

And a fun fact about the song "De Do Do Do De Da Da Da"...
Sting calls this song from the album "Zenyatta Mondatta" "an articulate song about being inarticulate."

In 'Wrapped Around Your Finger' by The Police, where is the devil found?
Behind me. 'Devil and the deep blue sea, behind me...vanish in the air you'll never find me...'

At the very end of 'O My God,' the third track of 'Synchronicity,' we hear some familiar lyrics 'ghosted' in from an earlier Police hit. Which one is it?
'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic'. 'O My God' ends with the same words 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic' does: 'Do I have to tell the story of a thousand rainy days since we first met? It's a big enough umbrella, but it's always me that ends up getting wet...' Years later, as a solo artist, Sting 'ghosted' these closing lines into yet another song: 'Seven Days,' from 1993's 'Ten Summoner's Tales.' Accuse him of redundancy if you must, but hearing those lines always makes me smile.
Are there any fun things you know about The Police that you think fans would appreciate?

I've been reading reviews about their concerts. And from what I hear, String still sounds like he is 25 years old. I have also read that they rearranged most of their songs, to give them a different live feel in comparison to the album versions. So that would bevery interesting to hear, though I do hope they don't stray too far from the original sound since it was perfection. =o)

Awww poor Zach Braff, the media is all busy talking down about him saying he is a womanizer. I don't think he is a womanizer...not that I would really know.

He is a hot and successful, single 32-year-old man. What's wrong with him dating people? And Lord only knows how many of the dating remarks have been true or not. Plus, he has been working like a fiend for six years now. Acting, writing, directing, I mean if he wants to take time to get out, have some fun and date people then he sure as heck should!

So I say, LEAVE HIM ALONE...I don't understand why people feel the need to be so judgemental and vindictive. I'm not above reading about celebrities, but I hate when crap like this is in the entertainment news. I still love you Zach and I don't believe any of this garbage.

Lol, shamefully this is totally cracking me up.
Gay pop icon Rufus Wainwright has attacked Beyonce Knowles for force-feeding music fans meaningless and "formulaic" hits. The cult singer identifies Knowles among the worst performers currently making hit singles because not enough thought goes into her R&B songs.
    Lordy, lordy the drama!

Maybe this will start a song battle. Lol. I totally think Eminem will be including this pettiness in his next bashing rap song.

I've blogged the beach, sandcastles and bikes, but there are other fun things that cross my mind while pondering a summer vacation. Of course some of them are too old for Brae to do just yet; including paint ball. I've never played paint ball, but it looked like fun in the movie "Failure to Launch." If Sarah Jessica Parker can do it, then I can do it, right? Right.

So I've meandered around the web and come across the Ultimate Paintball website. Seems the brand of paintball gun to check out is the Spyder paintball guns. The Spyder VS3 comes in a variety of different kit colors and you can buy a gun that comes with a PMI/Java 48ci Nitro Tank. There is a new VS3 with a Red Body Kit and Red Barrel Front which looks pretty sweet. It can do Semi or 3 Shot Bursts and Shoots Up To 30BPS with a rocking trigger. Sounds fun to me, though I'm sure it must hurt like heck when someone gets hit. I better get lots of padding gear. =o)

One more my style is the Spyder Pilot because it also has 6 burst capabilities. Plus it has a different cut body which is supposed to be more lightweight. And yes, I can get a chest protector, paint ball gloves and a paintball mask with goggles.

Some of the bundle packages you can buy from Ultimate Paintball come with Masks with Visor & No Fog Lens which would be great to have. After looking through this site, I would totally love to try paint ball. And I think when Brae is older it is something he could definitely get into. I better start saving money now. =o)

This is pure celebrity gossip for your entertainment.

Mandy Moore had once thought of having a beach wedding, but after shooting a fake wedding in Jamaica under the tropical sunlight she has changed her mind.

She is in the movie "Licensed to Wed" which releases in theaters on July 4th in the US. And apparently the sandy beach wedding she goes through in the movie was not all she dreamt it to be in real life.

    The movie synopsis:
An engaged young couple finds their lifetime of happiness unexpectedly compromised by a pushy minister who insists they successfully complete his comprehensive marriage-prep course before exchanging wedding vows in a matrimonial comedy starring John Krasinski, Mandy Moore, and Robin Williams.

This weekend would have been the perfect weekend to go to the beach. If only we didn't have plans to go see a concert. But this is Brae's first big concert. We're going to see The Fray at the Tweeter Center.

Next month we'll be heading to the beach for a few days and I am so excited. I think it would be super cool if we had a beach cruiser aka beach bike. They are for fun and leisure riding around the beach. I don't have a bike of my own, but these remind me of vintage style bikes, they are pretty snazzy.

I wish they had bikes for kids, but perhaps that will be coming in the future. This August they are putting out low-rider chopper bikes which though they look hilarious, I bet they are fun to ride. These bikes come about 80% assembled. So far there is only one for a man, but I bet I could handle it. =o) Don't they look fun? You could call yourself an OC Chopper groupie. Hehe.

Also coming this summer are new women design bikes. The flower design will be on pink or vanilla beach cruisers. They are super cute and are definitely designed for a beach-goer. I bet we'll be seeing these beach bikes in more places than just the beach though.

So Callie isn't my favorite Grey's Anatomy chica, but she's sassy and seems to be pretty comfortable in her own skin. I believe this even more now that she is the latest woman to be featured in a Got Milk? campaign.

Look how hot Sara Ramirez looks in her red dress with her milk moustache. You gotta like a girl who has curves and wears them well. That dress is killer on her, I'm jealous.

The little blurb she wrote for the ad says:
"In show business your figure, well, shows. That's why I drink milk. Studies suggest the nutrients in milk can play an important role in maintaining a healthy weight. Staying active, eating right, and drinking 24 ounces of low fat or fat free milk a day helps you look your best. Bravo."
All I can say is "You Go Girl!."

As if you needed more reasons to plan a super fun summer vacation...

One place I have always wanted to travel is Australia. I mean I have never seen a bad photograph of Australia, have you? Just look at the one posted here; a night-time scene of Melbourne, Australia and it is gorgeous!

Melbourne is the capitol of Australia. So if you'd like Melbourne Accommodations, you can find great deals at this link. Be sure that you visit the Royal Botanic Gardens located there. The gardens are 87 acres of beautiful landscapes. And to eat, they have a plethora of restaurants, one of which "Flower Drum" is rated in the top 50 restaurants in the world! And ladies, be sure to hit up the Royal Arcade...it's not games, it's a shopping experience that will have you reeling!

So if you are preparing for a summer vacation and would like to take an international trip, be sure to check and see if you can swing a Melbourne Accommodation, sometimes you can even get last minute reservations. Try the Carlton Crest Hotel, it is given 4 out of 5 stars and seems to be reasonably priced even if you are planning on a last minute stop. =o) Or live it up apartment style at the Shoan Heights Apartment Hotel located in the heart of Melbourne's busy Central Business District just around the corner from The Princess Theatre.

If you like upscale, but can't afford a 4 star it's quite alright, there are several great deals for 2 and 3 star rated hotels. A 3-star hotel that takes last minute reservations is "The Kingsgate Hotel Melbourne." In addition to last minute reservations they also do group bookings and weddings. There are so many Melbourne Accommodation, you will have plenty of choices and won't feel at all rushed or pressured.

There are quite a few movies out or coming out that I would really like to see this summer. Yes, we all know I am a movie fanatic and have a dvd collection that shocks most people. (Coming in at numbers just below 700...) But I always get good deals, honest!

This weekend "Evan Almighty" comes out and it looks hilarious. Of course I loved "Bruce Almighty" with Jim Carrey. But Steve Carrell is absolutely hilarious; otherwise I wouldn't own box sets of The Office. =o)
The plot: God (Freeman) tasks Congressman Evan Baxter (Carrell) with building an ark in anticipation of a great flood.

Last week the "Silver Surfer" and "Nancy Drew" came out. Both of which I would like to see with Braeden. Because he loves the Fantastic Four and I love Nancy Drew. It's a trade up that I don't think either of us would really mind. =o)

And the movie "Knocked Up" looks pretty darn hilarious as well. Though this might be one I don't see until it comes out on DVD because I don't think it would really need a big screen to be better. Ya know what I mean?

    Cele-brities that is...

You know you all do it. Maybe you aren't looking for celebrity gossip online, but how many of you can honestly say that you don't read the tabloids in the aisle of the grocery store or department store? Hmmm? Oh you know do you.

Well for people like me, who would spend 24 hours on her computer if she could, it's fun for me to see what the latest celebrity gossip is and trust me when I say it is NOT hard to find. There I go comparing the aisles of super markets to the web, hahaha.

You may not be comfortable discussing the latest hearsay with those behind you in line, but when it comes to the Internet you can easily comment on what people are saying. It's so wrong to gossip, and half the things you hear are bologna but it's still entertaining. Especially celebrity gossip sites that aggregate all the latest news out on the web and allow readers to not only comment, but to also vote on their favorite stories.

The hot celebrity gossip online right now is of course all about Paris Hilton and her latest fan letters. Head on over and check it out.

Richard Gere will receive the 2007 Marian Anderson Award for his advocacy efforts on behalf of independence for Tibet and better care for HIV/AIDS patients. Gere, a native of Philadelphia, will receive the award at a Nov. 12 gala featuring a concert by the Philadelphia Orchestra.

He has been a good Samaritan ever since "Pretty Woman." =o)

    Oh jewelry.

I now include myself in with the ladies who love diamonds. I have a sparkling beauty of a diamond on my hand. Hehe, yes it does make me giddy and even though it is only a little over 3 weeks old..I have a feeling I'll be giddy forever. =o)

Jennifer Aniston is one of my favorite actresses. Mostly because of her character on friends, Rachel, who totally cracked me up. Not to mention she has great hair. But she also has great bling. Have you ever seen her Moon Crescent Necklace? It's gorgeous! And um the ring Brad Pitt designed for her before he screwed up that engagement...to die for!

And James Bond fans everywhere fell in love with the for the love knot necklace worn by Eva Green in Casino Royale. They are making knock-offs of the necklace AND earrings now. So cute. I'm a sucker for earrings!

Anyway, I'm always looking for new places to scoop up some earrings and I found a place with diamond earrings to dazzle! The website is White Flash. They sell loose diamonds, but they also sell tons of beautiful jewelry. Rings, earrings, necklaces, etc. The diamond earrings to dazzle start as low as $180, I kid you not!

The customer service is great, too. You can ask them anything and of course you should because sometimes it is scary to shop online. But they'll ease you, and they guarantee everything they sell so you can shop with confidence. Check it out! You'll end up looking like a celebrity with your own bling. =o)

Who spoofed the Sopranos? You will never, ever guess so I'll just tell you.

    Hillary Clinton Spoofs Sopranos Finale...
With her new online campaign video that spoofs the controversial finale of The Sopranos. That is certainly a way to get a different demographic of attention now isn't it...?

CBS is preparing for another summer season of Big Brother. I don't know how they pulled this off, but there will also be a 3-hour uncensored spin-off of the show called "Big Brother:After Dark." But since it is uncensored you'll only be able to see the 3-hour parts of the show on Showtime...hmmm..doesn't seem quite fair now does it?

There is no way for me to lie about this one friends. If you stranded me on a desert island, I'd be a goner. When it comes to life skills in the wilderness, I get lost in my own backyard.

But I am a survivor in other ways. Believe it or not I am very good in emergencies. If it is my son I'm a crazy person, but I can calm hysterical strangers and comfort them within moments. Baby animals who have been hurt, I can rescue them and get them some place safe. I don't feel a thing when I'm stung by a bee and I can run around barefoot on gravel and prickly leaves without batting an eye. Football in cornfields, sure, why not? But, if you put me within 15 yards of a snake I will squeal like a baby pig. Don't even get me started on those big spiders we've got...the ones that bite. Eck!

An unknown city without money or resources. If it is just me and for some reason Brae is safe at home, well I'd try to survive certainly. I'm 5'3" and weigh less than 120 lbs. so really I'm easy prey. But I'm quiet (unless I need to sneeze) and I can hide in small places. But I think my way of surviving would be to befriend people. I do that all the time as it is.

The weather. I might not like rain, but I can deal with it. Wind won't bother me. Extreme heat and extreme cold definitely effect me, but when you are faced with having to be cold or die, well you rub your hands together for pete's sake!

Now. If I am defamed or betrayed and I have to take care of myself to figure out what happened. Well. You don't cross me. Angry Christy is not a force to be reckoned with and the entire playing field changes. I drop all fears and rules. Like a burn notice..."An official statement by one intelligence agency to other agencies, domestic or foreign, that an individual or group is unreliable."

Starting June 28th Michael Weston, a CIA Operative on USA Network's "Burn Notice," will show us how he plans on surviving without resources in an unknown territory.

The tag line of the show is "When spies get fired, they don't get a letter from human resources. The get burned." It sounds like what MacGuyver would have been had he been a hated person. Having to use all your skills to stay under the radar, while also figuring out what is happening.

Thursday. June 28th. Burn Notice. Watch it!

There is nothing on TV during the summer. Nothing.

I mean, my son and I watch The Food Network all the time anyway, but you can't find anything else on to watch. Especially nothing wholesome. It is driving me bonkers!

And they cancel all the good shows. I absolutely loved the show "The Class" they cancelled it. I loved the show "Jericho" they cancelled it. Veronica Mars, same story. Do you see the trend?

If it's good, it's gone within half a season.

Then I see a story about some new shows coming from MTV.

They are reaching out to the "trash-talkin' and sketch-comedy wannabes."
What in the world is that all about!? Those are the people they want to have watching their network, really? Eck.

Even David Duchovny is set to appear in a new cable show stated to be "the dirtiest TV program ever." It's called "Californication."

Me? I'm sticking to the Food Network.

It's so fun to get the unrated versions of movies when they come out on DVD. This typically happens with comedy flicks, because the outtakes are normally so hilarious! If you got the unrated version of "Anchorman" or "40-Year-Old Virgin" then you know what I'm talking about.

So "Reno 911! Miami The Movie" is being released in the unrated form on June 19, 2007, which is next Tuesday. It's one of the stupid-funny movies (take a look at this movie clip) that you shouldn't over think or analyze, just allow yourself a good laugh. The world is too serious as it is, but this movie kicks things down a notch. Don't go into it thinking you're going to get scripted dialogue and planned funny moments. This movie is all about improv and simplicity.

As for the crew of "Reno 911! Miami The Movie," Deputy James Garcia is freaking hilarious. His motto is "Criminals are the vomit of society and we (the law) are the sawdust." His character is played by Carlos Alazraqui. But my favorite character is the slutty, ex-showgirl Deputy Clementine Johnson, played by Wendi McLendon-Covey (Cook-Off!). Clemmy, as they call her, is a hyperactive blond who acts before she thinks. After her drinky-drink night at a bar, she finds herself tattooed...and she spends the remainder of the movie looking for the man tattooed on her left breast.

And so it goes, her ridiculous ways had me both shaking my head and laughing through the 84 minutes of craziness.

Isaiah Washington broke his silence about being fired from Grey's Anatomy.

"Shonda Rhimes called me on Thursday of last week and told me that I would not be returning to the show," Washington says. "Just like she personally called me and invited me to the show. It was full circle."

Things got ugly after he apparently made a prejudiced comment to castmate T.R. Knight in regards to his sexuality. Washington apologized and went to a rehab to help him with anger management. But apparently ABC still considers him a liability and did not renew his contract for season four.

This explains the absurd ending to season three. In which Washington's character broke up with his fiancée, Christina Yang (Sandra Oh) on their wedding day. It followed suit with the entire episode where nothing went well and everyone was depressed. Lovely.

I have yet to take Braeden (my three-year-old) on a real summer vacation. We do fun things, but we've not travelled anywhere or stayed in a hotel or anything fancy like that. I really want to be able to travel with him and show him the world. It's important to me, but it takes money and well...that's something that isn't very plentiful these days.

Hotel Reservations.com makes life easier. They give you fast and easy access to cheap hotels, vacation packages, rental cars, etc. Plus there are reviews on the cheap hotels to help you make your choice. Yes, emphasis on the "cheap" I am a bargain shopper.

You can even change the currency on the site if you are travelling internationally, which is quite helpful. Yes, that means Hotel Reservations.com is a worldwide travel agency online.

For me, any vacation I take will be within the US, at least for now. And one of the things I enjoy about this site is their city guide. So if you want to take a trip to Boston you can quickly read up on the city and find out not only about the hotels and restaurants, but also the history of the city and what makes it special or unique. So not only do I know I can stay at the Longwood Guest Suites for $132/night but I also know nearby attractions include the Avenue Of The Arts, Boston Museum Of Fine Arts and the Boston Museum Of Science. Fun fun for someone who is very into the arts and for a little boy who loves space!

I recently bought Braeden the movie "Hoot" even though it has been out on DVD for quite some time. Jimmy Buffett helped produce the movie along with Frank Marshall (Sea Biscuit) and Walden Media (The Chronicles of Narnia).

We watched it Sunday afternoon and I loved it. He didn't seem to get into it as much as I did, but I'm all sorts of interest in helping wildlife and being an advocate for endangered animals.

The premise of the movie is three kids who fight to protect a population of endangered owls. A developer wants to build a pancake house on land that is the home to burrowing owls.

The movie is funny and endearing. Luke Wilson plays a cop that is put in charge of finding out who is vandalizing the construction site. The kids (Logan Lerman, Brie Larson and Cody Linley) aren't really destructing the property, they are just trying to find ways to stop the development because they know the owls are there. The developer has been hiding that fact.

Not that I ever have time to do this anymore, but I used to play poker online. It's so entertaining, because you get to make your own character and actually using real money is optional. So if I couldn't sleep, I would hop online and play poker. But sometimes all the rooms were full of other insomniacs and I would be stuck...gameless.

Then I meandered onto "whogets.com" and they offer you the chance to win a huge array of prizes in online contests. So anyway, you sign up for free and they don't ever spam you, and you get to enter these different cool contests. It's fun to win things, so I'm all about contests.

"WhoGets.com" is owned by arcavate.com who also runs bidpoint.com. So if you are familiar with bidpoint.com than you should know it's all legit and user friendly.

It's fun to enter contests and it's easy to do. And lemme tell all you insomniacs out there, it gives you a lot to look at so give it a try and see what you can win. I'll admit some of the prizes are a little silly to me, but would make great gifts. And then you can also win things like a GAP sweatshirt or a Flat Monitor TV which are great prizes! I mean, they're sponsored by awesome vendors like Amazon.com, eToys.com and even Pacific Sunwear...fun!

This brilliant movie came out on DVD a week or two ago, but I just recently purchased it for my son Braeden. "Arthur and the Invisibles" is such a delightfully cute movie.

The invisibles are actually Minimoys and they are tiny little elves that live underground. Arthur is a ten-year-old boy living with his Grandmother out in the country. He spends his time reading, pretending and building things his Grandfather used to write about in journals.

Arthur's Grandfather has been missing for some time and his Grandmother is going to lose the house if she can't may a large some of money within two days. He tells his Grandmother that they can take whatever they want, but they will not take her house. This leads Arthur into a wonderful adventure when he shrinks down to Minimoy size and goes underground to find his Grandfather's buried treasure.

It's a very cute story, I absolutely loved it and so did Braeden. I highly recommend buying or renting this movie for your family.

Many people have superstitions; they knock on wood and say "bless you" when someone sneezes. You hear people say "don't jinx me" or "13 is an unlucky number." Perhaps they believe in those things, but what makes those things so powerful? As with most fears, it is a fear of the unknown or unexplainable. The word supernatural pertains to forces regarded as beyond nature; they cannot be explained from the laws of the natural world. Ah, so you see, perhaps more people believe and have experience something supernatural than you originally thought.

Stephen King believes in the supernatural. This is why he writes about it so very well. It is almost as if a forces guides his pen, wouldn't you say? Can you really explain how one man can have over 50 bestselling horror novels?

And so the premise behind his novel "1408" is with a fictional horror writer Mike Enslin who only believes what he can see with his own two eyes. His beliefs are tested after he checks into suite 1408 of the notorious Dolphin Hotel. Enslin ignores the warnings of the hotel manager, Mr. Olin who knows not all myths are frauds.

Dimension Films has turned this horror novel into a movie. John Cusack plays Mike Enslin and Samuel L. Jackson plays Mr. Olin in the big screen version of Stephen King's "1408." The 1408 Movie tagline is: "No one lasts more than an hour."

Everyone knows, or should know, that I do believe in the supernatural. And I have seen and been in contact with things I cannot explain or even claim they are from this world. There are good spirits and there are evil spirits. Both of which I can attest to with absolute knowing and not just a belief. And when you encounter an evil being, you will never forget it. There is a house on the street where I live which I will never set foot in, nor will I set foot on the property. A teenage boy was murdered in this house many years ago. The people who live there now have told me drawers open, pens write, closet doors shut...all by themselves. But it wasn't until I saw him in the window that I really knew he was not to be reckoned with. I wish I had just believed what the residents of the house had told me, because the vision I saw will never leave my mind. I am sure Mike Enslin in the 1408 Movie, felt the same way. There is an afterlife, there are other dimensions and all realms can be breached.

Releasing on June 22, 2007 is the 1408 Movie.
