Mischa Barton has a job! She's been cast in a CW show produced by Ashton Kutcher. "Ashton developed it about his life growing up as a model from Iowa, so it's about the whole fashion world that he was in, and obviously I have a lot of friends in the fashion world, so I'm used to being around a lot of people in that," Barton says. "[I play] a bitchy model-type character, like it's a totally different character for me."
The Hollywood Reporter says that Barton will star in the pilot episode for the planned series 'A Beautiful Life'.
It follows the lives of a group of male and female supermodels who share a home in New York.

Blake Lively says Gossip Girl is holding back her movie career.
The 21-year-old actress - who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the hit TV show - says she has been so busy filming the teen drama that it's been impossible to take up film offers coming her way.
She explains, "We shoot nine months out of the year, so there are so many films I can't do.
"On my latest movie I would go and take a day off from Gossip Girl in New York and go to Connecticut and shoot that and then come back the next day. And they don't really like to share you."

Keira Knightley has turned down the chance to reprise her role in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, insisting she's "done" with the franchise.
The actress made her name in Hollywood playing aristocrat-turned-swashbuckler Elizabeth Swann in the hit Disney trilogy.
A fourth movie is in the works, with Johnny Depp already onboard to play Captain Jack Sparrow one more time. But Knightley is keen to move on from the role.
"It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again. I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And he (Depp) is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful.

Patrick Wilson, Matthew Goode and Malin Akerman all star in the film and revealed the pressure they felt under pressure to do the book and its loyal fans justice.

We knew that celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz had some serious financial problems. But we didn't know they were so bad that she had to sign over all of her photos to a pawn shop:
The NYT today reveals that Leibovitz took out more than $15 million in loans from Art Capital Group; essentially a very high class pawn shop specializing in art.
Last fall, Annie Leibovitz, the photographer, borrowed $5 million from a company called Art Capital Group. In December, she borrowed $10.5 million more from the same firm. As collateral, among other items, she used town houses she owns in Greenwich Village, a country house, and something else: the rights to all of her photographs.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen Are Engaged!
"They're so excited," says the insider, who says no wedding date has been set.
"They're a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief."
The "Last Kiss" cutie finally showed off her engagement ring during a shopping trip to the Mayfair Market after weeks of keeping it covered up.
Because Kevin Federline (also Britney Spears's rodent-like ex-husband) is doing three episodes where he plays a struggling musician whom one of the characters will try to help.
Bleck.
He is a terrible rapper, father, person and actor.
In other more important and far better news the rumors about celebrity pregnancies today include Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carey. The couple have been seeing each other for several years now and Jenny is constantly gushing about how great Jim is with her son. Wowzers! I'm excited for thems if this is true.
Each fall we see new television line-ups. We lose some, we gain some and the hope is that everything balances out. Fortunately for me, "One Tree Hill" and "Smallville" are still airing on CW. But, we lost "Gilmore Girls" and I have mourned, but only briefly since I was irritated when Lorelai made the ridiculous marriage mistake...
A new addition to the CW line-up involves the blog of the "all knowing albeit ultra-secretive Gossip Girl." The premise of this show is based on the best selling series of "Gossip Girl" books.
The CW's "Gossip Girl" involves a cast in high-school and the gossip is about Manhattan elite...tends to be the high school students; especially Serena van der Woodsen who has left boarding school and is returning to Manhattan...
Since this show is coming to us on the CW, from the producers of "The OC" I have a feeling it will become a sensation quickly. The premiere is Wednesday, September 19th (9/8c) to be in the know before everyone else, check out the MySpace Fan Page.
