Mischa Barton has a job! She's been cast in a CW show produced by Ashton Kutcher. "Ashton developed it about his life growing up as a model from Iowa, so it's about the whole fashion world that he was in, and obviously I have a lot of friends in the fashion world, so I'm used to being around a lot of people in that," Barton says. "[I play] a bitchy model-type character, like it's a totally different character for me."
The Hollywood Reporter says that Barton will star in the pilot episode for the planned series 'A Beautiful Life'.
It follows the lives of a group of male and female supermodels who share a home in New York.

Blake Lively says Gossip Girl is holding back her movie career.
The 21-year-old actress - who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the hit TV show - says she has been so busy filming the teen drama that it's been impossible to take up film offers coming her way.
She explains, "We shoot nine months out of the year, so there are so many films I can't do.
"On my latest movie I would go and take a day off from Gossip Girl in New York and go to Connecticut and shoot that and then come back the next day. And they don't really like to share you."

Keira Knightley has turned down the chance to reprise her role in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, insisting she's "done" with the franchise.
The actress made her name in Hollywood playing aristocrat-turned-swashbuckler Elizabeth Swann in the hit Disney trilogy.
A fourth movie is in the works, with Johnny Depp already onboard to play Captain Jack Sparrow one more time. But Knightley is keen to move on from the role.
"It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again. I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And he (Depp) is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful.

They were born by c-section and both were a good size weighing in at 5 lbs., 15oz., and 5 lbs., 2 oz. The names of the newborns are Finley and Harper. Reports are that both babies and mom are home, healthy, and doing well.

Jerry O'Connell told People all about getting a nursery ready for twins with the help of his very pregnant wife Rebecca Romijn. He clarifies as well that it wasn't really a spare room that they cleaned out, but a room full of items that belonged to his aunt and uncle. The room also contained his much loved video games.
Rebecca is a great wife however and has already taught Jerry what having kids means. Bye, bye video games. He states, "So, I'm wondering what I'm going to do with my video game stuff. But, maybe that goes out the window when you have kids." Smart man...

Ringo Starr gets fan mail! Oh but also, the Beatles drummer gets so much of it, and has for the past 45 years, that he won't accept any letters that are postmarked after October 20. The Associated Press has issued an advisory about this, to be sure everyone has the opportunity to tell Mr. Starkey how much Yellow Submarine changed their lives or whatever.

The Black Eyed Peas announced that they are finishing their fifth album, The E.N.D. Sounds like Fergie is keeping herself immersed in work with filming for Nine and her music career.

The Iron Man will soon have a new best friend! Don Cheadle will replace Terrence Howard as the superhero’s best friend, Jim Rhodes, in 'Iron Man 2,' says The Hollywood Reporter.
The paper says Tony Stark/Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., will reportedly have a new sidekick partly because a financial negotiation could not be reached for Howard to play the role.
The sequel will have Jon Favreau back to direct, and both Downey and Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) are expected to return and reprise their roles, says the paper.

The way she fawns over her precious dog, you'd think Paris Hilton liked animals. Apparently though she had adopted a kitten only to neglect it.
The Kris Kelly Foundation rescued poor kitty Prada, from the vet after Paris abandoned it when she took Prada in to be neutered. Kris Kelly herself called Hilton to come get the cat, but says her calls went ignored. Kelly says: "It's a clear-cut case of abandonment."
Paris' reps have been quoted saying she thought the kitty would be delivered home from the vet, like a pizza. The kitten was at the vet for THREE WEEKS. Poor Prada. =o(
In other celebrity news, you all know how I follow celebrity pregnancies. Well, rumor has it that Fergie is pregnant though this hasn't been confirmed. She and fiance Josh Duhamel, are moving up their wedding date and she bought a gown while in New York for the Grammys. She still looked great in the big bird yellow dress she worem but some are saying they spied a baby bump.
