As it happens, Heath Ledger was just six weeks from finishing director Terry Gilliam's fantasy ""The Imaginarium of Dr. Parssanus." After hearing of his death the director postponed the film and wasn't sure if it would go on at all...ever.

But today rumors began milling about a replacement actor. Apparently at one point during the film Ledger's character falls through a mirror. It is possible when he reappears he could be "different" like a completely different person. They are currently working on that twist to the story and if it will work, but if it does work out, word on the street is that Johnny Depp will take it from there. I honestly can't think of anyone who would be better for the job.

As it stands right now all contracts for the movie have been halted under a clause which says everything can be nixed under dire circumstances. There have been over 100 people laid off from the set already. The film's makers issued a statement saying: "Terry and the producers will be assessing how best to proceed."

We'll see what happens. Johnny Depp is a very sensitive soul and might opt out of this opportunity for personal reasons. In other news, we do know that Depp has signed onto a new movie "Public Enemies." Directed by Michael Mann, the film is set during the great crime wave of 1933-1934, he will play Dillinger, one of the most notorious gangsters of the Depression era.

Oscar-nominated actor reportedly discovered in Mary-Kate Olsen's home

When I saw this headline I didn't believe it, I didn't want to believe it. Heath Ledger could not possibly be dead. He is the new Joker and he has been photographed all over the place lately. How could he be dead?

    But, he is.

At the age of 28-years-old he was found naked and unconscious with pill around him. I don't know about you but it seems very odd to me. He had an appointment at 3:30 this afternoon but when the housekeeper went to find him he was dead.

They call it drug related...suicide...I don't know. Something sounds off to me.

I'm very sorry about this news. I am quite upset actually. It shouldn't impact me, I don't personally know him, but I did respect him as an actor. I loved him in "10 Things I Hate About You" and "A Knight's Tale."

It is indeed a sad day.

I will offer my prayers for his daughter Matilda and all those affected by his untimely death.

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have split after three years together. This all seems to add to the trend of Hollywood couples not being able to make it. It's all very sad really, I thought these two looked really great together.

Their daughter, Matilda, is 23 months old. Since the split is supposedly as amicable as a break-up can be, I'm hoping there won't be any custody issues, but you really never know. At least they never got married. =o/

Seems like to stay married as a celebrity would mean one of the people would have to stop acting and follow the other around. It really stinks when you both have to keep changing locations and sets. Bummer.
