Though the story that Chris Brown may have assaulted Rihanna over the weekend is dispiriting enough, in Hollywood, things can always get worse. Now, news is breaking about a new allegation.

Now, though, TMZ is reporting that an investigation is ongoing to charge Brown with assault with a deadly weapon-though the weapon in question is unknown.

Rihanna went to Cedars Sinai sporting facial bruises, while Brown fled the scene, only to eventually turn himself in (under the charge of making "criminal threats") before posting bail.

I have a new found respect for Rihanna since I found out her compassion in helping patients with leukemia, so this is even more upsetting.

Kate Hudson has rekindled her romance with ex Owen Wilson, it has been claimed.

The actress - who is divorced from Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson - has dated the Marley & Me actor on and off since 2006.

And rumors the pair are back together are now rife - after Kate was seen visiting Owen's Malibu home several times in the past two weeks.

I say doubtful, the two are just good friends, but we'll see.

I'm sure you've already heard all the Grammy news. I'm not going to rehash, but I did want to mention one winner in particular.

The former Vice-President became only the 9th person in history to sweep all four major entertainment categories - Oscar, Tony, Emmy, and Grammy - by claiming a Grammy last night for Best Spoken Word Album for the audio book of An Inconvenient Truth.

Leonardo DiCaprio is in Germany today for the Berlin International Film Festival and will be receiving the "International Green Film Award". The honor, presented by BMW by Mikhail Gorbachev, is akin to a "Green Oscar," offering a platform for environmental activists and dedicated artists to draw attention as well as strengthen and encourage the public conscience for environmental issues. The Award comes with a $250,000 donation for an environmental foundation or film project.

Kelly Osborne, 24, has checked in to a treatment facility just outside Los Angeles, but no further details have been released.

Her mother Sharon confirmed: "Yeah, Kelly's in rehab. What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we're proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she's getting it."

"Dogs cannot use condoms, but... they can be fixed painlessly, quickly and permanently. It is well established that killing stray dogs is not a permanent solution to controlling their populations...mass sterilization of stray animals is the most viable solution to nuisance and health concerns in addition to being more humane."

    - Pamela Anderson speaking out after Mumbai's high court recommended that stray dogs be killed, saying they are a nuisance to the public.

Leonardo DiCaprio's environmental passions have been receiving a bit more press lately; especially in light of a new partnership with watchmaker TAG Heuer to benefit green initiatives. He recently commented on the political changes in the United States and what they mean for the environment saying, "I was in Rome when Obama won the election. He represents a whole new era. Obama gets it that green technology and the economy go hand in hand, that we can build an industry that will create new jobs and economic growth and make us less reliant on foreign oil."

Morrissey has a way with words when it comes to expressing his opinions. When asked recently by Maxim Magazine, 'Who in your life would you most liked to "kick in the eye"?', he replied, "That meat-fed horror Jamie "Orrible" Oliver. If he's a master chef, then I'm Miss Brazil 1970."

Shia LaBeouf has been all over NYC promoting Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and the rising star also scored the June cover of GQ. I have to say this is a sure jump from his days on Even Stevens via the Disney Channel. His acting has improved and his overall appeal is soaring.

Very exciting to me is the upcoming Fraggle Rock movie! My brother and I loved the show growing up and I am psyched it will be on the big screen. It's time to "Dance your cares away/ Worry's for another day/ Let the music play/ Down at Fraggle Rock!" The Fraggles are back! According to Variety, the Weinsteins are teaming up with Lisa Henson of the Jim Henson Company to bring a live-action, half-human half-puppet Fraggle Rock extravaganza to the big screen.

Oscar nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix is coming out with an album. A music album. What!? It didn't work for Scarlett Johansson. It didn't work for Minnie Driver or Kevin Bacon or Billy Bob Thornton or well, can you think of anyone it has worked for?

Apparently, Phoenix got the calling after he learned to play the guitar for the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line.

We didn't think it was possible, but the insanely dateable John Krasinski is not looking so hot these days. Due to an upcoming role in the Sam Mendes-directed Farlanders, John is sporting a nasty beard that resembles something one of the Geico cavemen would wear.

No stranger to biopics, Leonardo DiCaprio may be in line to portray another 20th-century figure in Fleming, a film chronicling the life of James Bond creator Ian Fleming. I don't know about you but I don't give a flip.

And last but not least, Donna Summers, the disco queen releases her album Crayons. The record is the first new music for Summers in 14 years.
