This morning two entertaining tidbits will be based on my opinion/bias and so chuckle or nod your head if you will.
1. It took 15 years, but the Philadelphia Phillies are heading to the World Series. My Grandpa is absolutely thrilled about this and I am sure all Philly fans are ecstatic. Maybe you even popped the champagne after the first at bat with Jimmy Rollins and his home fun start of the night. The 5-1 victory over the Dodgers means the 6th World Series trip for the Phillies!
2. The final presidential debate. So maybe McCain wasn't talking about nailing jello to a wall this time, which you have to admit was hilarious. But he did of course bring up the Ayars thing AGAIN. I love how cool and calm Obama was when he reminded McCain and the audience that he was only 8 years old during the time of that scandal. Lol. Sorry McCain you got your mudslinging jabs in but on November 4th it will be Obama going for the TKO!
Now onto some entertaining news from Hollywood...
Things just got worse for Christie Brinkley's philandering husband, Peter Cook. According to Page Six, Peter made a sex tape with his former mistress, a 19 year old townie named Diana Bianchi, and those tapes landed in the wrong hands.

Here's Christina Aguilera's new look. Hot or Not? She looks like the Poltergeist girl mixed with a Rocky Horror Picture show cast member and a dash of Cyndi Lauper. All I know is I liked the red lipstick better if she's going to have it painted on so vividly.

Tea Leoni and David Duchovny are splitsville. =o( "In light of continuous speculation over the lives and marriage of Tea Leoni and David Duchovny, the couple has confirmed that they have in fact been separated for several months. The couple had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children."

Lynne Spears thinks you want to see a movie based on her new memoir,
Through The Storm. We're sure Britney is pleased!
In case you hadn't heard it a million times, Britney's mom wrote a "tell-all" book recounting Britney's problems with alcohol, drugs and teenage sex.
She left out the part about a pushy, money-grubbing mother.
Apparently, Lynne's been shopping her idea around, and she even has her eyes set on Scary Movie's Anna Faris to play BritBrit.
And who will play Lynne?
Lynne wants Julia Roberts to portray her! ROFL!

Celebrities are just like us, they like to take vacations and see new places. For them it might be a spot that is low key for them to hide and de-stress, like well, Delaware. Hahaha. But for us it's the opposite. (Though I wouldn't mind de-stressing).
A romantic getaway for me would be in a log cabin somewhere in the mountains, snowed in, fireplace, lots of wine and cozy pajammies to leave on and take off at will ;o) Bri and I weren't able to take a honeymoon this November but we will in the future when the finances are better and Brae is a bit older. Hopefully. Until then
family vacation ideas are always floating around and being jotted down.
As of right now he has done many romantic things for me and my favorite times most often involve concerts. Going to the Borgata in New Jersey to see Def Leppard and then driving up to the top to take pictures. Sure it was freezing but the pictures were great and we were giddy fools. So it was fun.
We've also spent time at venues in
Philadelphia including the Wachovia Center where we've seen Phil Collins, Aerosmith, Keith Urban and a host of other fantastic artists. It would be nice to be able to have a long weekend in Philly and tour the historical elements of the city. If not Philly, I'd love to go up to New York and visit the Musuem of Modern Art.
I have been to New York for a weekend once, with my younger brother, and the trip was just too short. I could look at art all day.
New York City tours are something everyone should do in their lifetime because you'll never see a city so full of life and color as you will in NY. If you end up lucky enough to tour New York City, make sure to use
Trusted Tours & Attractions for your booking because they know all the best places, even the hidden ones. =o)
