Jude Law was shocked to find out he'd gotten model Samantha Burke pregnant with his fourth child - he thought she was on the Pill, it has been claimed.

"Jude assumed she was on the Pill," a source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper. "He was stunned at being informed of the pregnancy. Jude feels like now he has been made to look the bad guy. One of the reasons their brief relationship didn't work out is because Samantha was a little too keen.

She claimed she was falling in love after just a couple of weeks."

After confirmation that Hillary Duff is indeed headed to Upper East Side, Entertainment Weekly reports that another unlikely celebrity will be dropping by the CW hit Gossip Girl.

Model and television personality Tyra Banks has confirmed that she will be appearing on Gossip Girl this fall, playing an actress co-starring in a film with Duff's character at around episode 4.

This week's episode of Heroes starts with a recap full of footage no one but the production staff has ever seen. Danko and Sylar look through the window of Danko's office. Danko says to Sylar, "See that agent over there, to work with us you'll need a new identity." Then he gives Sylar the agent's name and life in order for Sylar to work with Danko's team. So if you're among the many who fast-forward on their DVR after recording this show, you may have missed this part.

The beginning of the show opens with Claire asking, "So what now?" Nathan answers that he'll return to Washington "take responsibility for my mistakes and talk to the President." Is this a subtle apology from Tim Kring for how this season went way off track? As we know from last week they see Nathan on television conducting a live press conference from Washington as the same moment Nathan is eating a hamburger with his family. Nathan asks, "Who the hell is that?" HRG answers, "Sylar."

Julie Chen of CBS' "The Early Show" has announced that she and her husband, Les Moonves, are expecting their first child together.

The 38-year-old Chen told viewers Tuesday that her due date is Oct. 4.

Chen, who also hosts "Big Brother," says she won't be taking maternity leave from the CBS reality show.

Moonves is CEO of CBS. The couple were married in 2004. He has three children from a previous marriage.

Former teen star Melissa Joan Hart considered baring all in a raunchy shoot for men's magazine Playboy during her heyday in TV hit Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

The actress was desperate to shed the good girl image she earned though roles in kids TV hits Sabrina and Clarissa Explains it All, and came close to accepting Playboy boss Hugh Hefner's $1 million offer.

She tells NYPost.com's PopWrap blog, "They came around and offered me a million dollars, which I had to seriously consider. Initially it's like, 'Yeah, I'll take my clothes off for a million bucks, are you kidding?' It's the big question: what will you do for a million dollars?"

Hart, now a 33-year-old mother-of-two, turned down Hefner, but agreed to strip to her underwear for rival magazine Maxim.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn, have welcomed their second daughter. And, Grohl says, she likes to make noise.

The 40-year-old rocker says Harper Willow Grohl was born on April 17. She is 7 pounds, 8 ounces, 20 inches long and - Grohl says - "loud as hell."

He says Harper Willow is named after his great-uncle Harper Bonebrake.

The long-awaited, much disputed season six of Project Runway will premiere on Lifetime on August 20th, the network has revealed.

"Runway," which moves to Lifetime following a legal skirmish between producer Weinstein Co. and its former cable home, Bravo, will have a 14-episode run in the Thursday 10 p.m. time slot.

"The Oprah Winfrey Show" and Harpo Productions are warning fans to be weary of e-mail scams that notify individuals of their nomination for the "Oprah Millionaire Contest" show.

Accoridng to Oprah.com this is one of about a dozen scams being circulated through e-mail promising money, tickets, and travel from "The Oprah Show."

Harpo Productions posted the following statement on their website:

"Please note that 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' and Harpo Productions are not sponsors nor do we have any involvement whatsoever with this e-mail solicitation."

Petal Blossom Rainbow Oliver?


Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has welcomed his third baby girl into the world with wife Jools this week.

Oliver's wife, Jools, gave birth to Petal Blossom Rainbow at 2:46 a.m. on Friday, according to People Magazine, and she was 6 lb., 10 ounces.

The other two Oliver daughters, Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo, will get to spend the next two weeks with daddy and new sister Petal while he takes his paternity leave.

Those poor kids and their odd names. I feel sad for them.

Britney Spears walked off stage during a recent concert because the arena was too smoky.

The singer, who is a smoker herself, performed three songs in Vancouver on her Circus tour before leaving the stage.

A voice came over the speaker system informing the audience the show would not restart if people continued to smoke marijuana and cigarettes because if was unsafe for the performers and Britney.

Around 40 minutes later the star returned to the stage but, according to a witness, put on a half-hearted effort.

Brittany Murphy has been cast in a new movie role and the actress will star opposite a Golden Globe winner.

Murphy will play Mickey Rourke's girlfriend in 'The Expendables,' says The Hollywood Reporter.

Sylvester Stallone and Jet Li will also appear in the film which centers around a group of mercenaries who travel to South America in an attempt to overthrow a dictator, THR reports.

Megan Fox will be playing the She-Hulk.

A source said: "'She-Hulk' comics are popular so it's only natural that the character makes the transition to the big screen.

"The idea is to make She-Hulk sexier but even more savage than the Hulk, which is why Megan is the big favorite for the lead. She'll be green of course and will have to hang on to a few more pieces of clothes than the male version when she transforms!"

Megan Fox has a nice body, I admit this, but she does NOT have a Hulkish body. This will not work and I hope it's not set in stone.

Kal Penn has left House to go work for the White House.

Kal, who said he's always aspired to a career in politics, asked to leave the show after working on Obama's campaign, even though he loves acting.

Approaching executive producers David Shore and Katie Jacobs, Penn expressed his desire far in advance, which allowed the writers to craft his exit in an organic way - with a sudden, inexplicable suicide!

In regards to his new job, Penn said he'll be "the associate director in the White House office of public liaison. They do outreach with the American public and with different organizations. They're basically the front door of the White House. They take out all of the red tape that falls between the general public and the White House."

Howard K. Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich have arrived in a Los Angeles courtroom for their arraignments today.

Stern, along with Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, were accused of three felony counts of conspiracy to furnish Anna Nicole Smith with drugs before her death. The docs also face additional charges for writing fraudulent prescriptions.

According to reports, Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl is now in the process of begging producers not to kill her off - months after she threatened to quit.

Speculation Heigl was set to leave the hit drama reached fever-pitch when her character, Dr. Izzie Stevens, was diagnosed with severe brain and liver cancer.

Referring to her future on the show, she said: "I'm there if Izzie remains part of Grey's Anatomy", describing it as one of her "favourite places to be".

Two months after news broke of the alleged violent fight between Rihanna and Chris Brown, a PSA about domestic violence starring Keira Knightley is set to debut in theaters.

The two-minute clip, which will start airing April 6, depicts Knightley being violently kicked and beaten by a man.

"While domestic violence exists in every section of society we rarely hear about it," says the actress, who volunteered to act in the clip for the charity Women's Aid. "Domestic violence affects one in four women at some point in their lifetime and kills two women every week." Atonement director Joe Wright directed the spot.

How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, welcomed a daughter, Satyana Denisof, on Tuesday, March 24th in Los Angeles, her rep tells PEOPLE. Funnily enough, the 24th is also Alyson's birthday!

Though no further details were released, Alyson's rep tells PEOPLE, "They're very excited, and mom and baby are doing great."

Robert Pattinson will be joined by fellow British actor Jamie Campbell Bower for Twilight sequel New Moon.

Bower, 20, will be taking over the role of Volutri leader Caius. He joins Dakota Fanning, who will portray the Volturi's angel-faced minion Jane.

"I doubt I'll get the same sort of adulation as Robert," Jamie told BBC News Monday. "But it's always nice when people recognize you for your work."

Bower's credits include RocknRolla and Sweeney Todd.

On Tuesday, North Korea announced that it would try American journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling - Lisa Ling's sister - for "hostile acts" and illegally entering the country.

The official Korean Central News Agency said, "The illegal entry of US reporters into the DPRK (North Korea) and their suspected hostile acts have been confirmed by evidence and their statements."

The agency also said that the pair, who work for California-based Current TV, will be granted consular access and will be tried according to international law. The agency did not, however, specify their "hostile acts," although South Korean reports are saying they could be tried for spying.

The situation also tries relations with North Korea, which is planning to launch a communications satellite that the US believes is just a cover for long-range missile testing.

CBS may soon decide to pull the plug on "Guiding Light," the longest-running daytime drama in television history.

While no final decision has been made, the network's deal for the Procter & Gamble-produced drama-the least watched of the eight daytime serials currently on the air-ends in September. But if CBS does drop "Guiding Light," it likely would lock in a decision within the next month, people familiar with the matter said. That would give writers a chance to tie up storylines.

CBS also would need to finalize new programming for the daytime hour that "Guiding Light" would be vacating.

Soon you'll be able to channel style icon Nicole Richie from head to toe - at least as far as accessories are concerned. Following the success of her line of headbands and jewelry, the star has just inked a deal to design footwear, WWD reports. Partnering with the manufacturers who produce Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans, Richie will add a line of around 20 shoe styles to her House of Harlow 1960 label for spring of 2010, as well as bags, belts and small accessories.

A "friend" of Joe Biden's daughter, Ashley, is shopping around a video recording of the VP daughter allegedly snorting cocaine at a party in Delaware earlier this month.

The NY Post watched a 90 second preview of the video. The footage, which The Post declined to purchase, shows a young woman with a remarkable resemblance to Ashley riding the white pony with a group of people, and then complaining that the horses ain't big enough.

A lawyer said that the footage was legally obtained, with Ashley waving to the camera at one point.

The shooter was initially asking for $2 million, but reduced the price to $400,000.

I hope it's all lies.

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly parting ways with the trusted hairstylist who has cut her widely imitated locks for nearly fifteen years.

Aniston has become close friends with Chris McMillan since he created her famous 'Rachel' haircut on sitcom Friends in the 1990s. The actress is said to have refused to let any other hairdressers touch her blonde locks - even paying a reported $57,000 for McMillan to accompany her on a week-long promotional trip across Europe earlier this month.

Acclaimed actress Natasha Richardson died Wednesday of head injuries sustained in a skiing accident. She was 45.

The death was announced in a statement released Wednesday evening by Neeson's publicist.

"Liam Neeson, his sons and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha," the statement said. "They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time."

No details about the exact cause of her death were released.

But Yves Coderre, director of operations at the emergency services company that sent the medics to the Mont Tremblant resort, told Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper that ski patrollers requested an ambulance after Richardson fell.

Paramedics responded, but when they arrived they were told they were not needed, Mr Coderre said.

"When you have a head trauma you can bleed. It can deteriorate in a few hours or a few days," he said. He said another ambulance was called later to Richardson's hotel near the base of Mont Tremblant. At the time, she was conscious but "wasn't in good shape" and was rushed to hospital.

She was eventually moved to a Montreal hospital before being transferred to New York.

Very, very tragic.

Swift, 19, says Mayer - who recently split from girlfriend Jennifer Aniston - is such a huge fan of her latest hit, Love Story, he just had to let her know.

She reveals, "I was walking down the hall at the Grammys and John Mayer came up to me and said, 'I love your song Love Story'.

"He even started singing the bridge. That was totally amazing."

Oprah Winfrey recently adopted two puppies from a Chicago shelter - calling them Ivan and Sadie - and introduced the latter to fans with a special appearance on her March 6 show.

The 8-week-old pups were litter mates, and in sad news, a spokeswoman for Winfrey's Harpo Productions said that Ivan died late last week of parvovirus - an infectious disease that attacks the gastrointestinal tract.

"I'm saddened by his passing, though we only had him for a weekend," Winfrey said in a statement. Her other puppy Sadie is also fighting the life-threatening disease and was "holding steady" as of Wednesday, the spokeswoman said.

Actress Natasha Richardson was hospitalized on Monday afternoon in Montreal after suffering a serious head injury, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The Tony-winning star, 45, was first brought to Centre Hospitalier Laurentien near the Mont Tremblant winter resort following a skiing accident.

Her husband, actor Liam Neeson, 56, left the set of a movie he was filming in Toronto and rushed to his wife's side.

She married Neeson in 1994, and the couple has two sons.

Less than a month after he capped a remarkable comeback with an appearance at the Oscars, Mickey Rourke spent three hours in a high security Russian prison.

The American actor, who was nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his turn in The Wrestler, visited the Butyrka prison in Moscow to research his latest role.

Rourke has signed up to play Russian villain Whiplash in the upcoming sequel to comic book movie Iron Man, in which he'll star alongside Robert Downey Jr.

Two music videos that represent actor Heath Ledger's last directorial work before his death in January 2008 will be released this year.

Modest Mouse plans to release the animated video for "King Rat," a bonus track from the band's 2007 "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank," Billboard has confirmed. The news was first reported by Spin magazine on its Web site. A video for Grace Woodroofe's cover of David Bowie's "Quicksand" is also set for release this year, along with her Ben Harper-produced debut album, the L.A. Weekly reports.

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller Sheen welcomed twin boys Saturday night. The children, named Max and Bob, are the first for the couple, who married in May 2008.

"They're doing great," Sheen's publicist Stan Rosenfield tells PEOPLE of the babies, who weren't due for another few weeks. "And Brooke's doing great."

The two, who married in May of last year, announced last October that two babies were on the way! Sheen already has three daughters -- Sam, 5, and Lola, 3, with his ex-wife Denise Richards -- and 24-year-old Cassandra from a previous relationship with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt.

Three people were arrested and six others hurt Saturday after bedlam broke out while they waited to audition for America's Next Top Model, police said.

Police didn't know what prompted the chaos involving hundreds of people outside the Park Central New York hotel in Manhattan. The panic left the street outside the hotel littered with shoes and clothing, according to news reports.

"It was pretty scary," Jessica Paravati told WNYW-TV. She said she was caught up in a stampede after waiting on line overnight, hoping for a shot at stardom on the reality show.

Two women and a man were arrested on disorderly conduct charges, police said. Authorities also shut down the audition, saying it wasn't properly organized.

Actor and comedian Steve Martin has offered to pay for the off-campus production of his play Picasso at the Lapin Agile after it was banned from an Oregon high school.

Martin wrote in a letter to The La Grande Observer that his goal in paying for the performance of the play is to keep his work "from acquiring a reputation it does not deserve," the Associated Press reports.

According to reports, Picasso at the Lapin Agile was banned from La Grande High School in Oregon after a parent objected to the production and provided a petition signed by 137 people. The main objections to the play were the drinking scenes and its alleged disrespectful references to women.

David Archuleta will make a duet with Miley Cyrus when he guest stars in TV series "Hannah Montana" later this season. Portraying himself, he will be seen coming to town and asking Miley Stewart to collaborate with him in a song called " I Wanna Know".

Joaquin Phoenix continued his erratic behavior after jumping off stage to confront an audience member during a short performance at a Miami Beach nightclub last night.

Security guards had to drag Joaquin back on stage and escort him away after he came face-to-face with a heckler in the crowd.

It was not immediately clear whether the two men exchanged any blows.

Security guards swarmed the scene and dragged Phoenix away.

Mandy Moore and rocker Ryan Adams have wed in a secret Georgia ceremony - just one month after announcing their engagement.

The 24-year-old pop star-turned-actress and 34-year-old Adams exchanged vows in a small, simple ceremony in Savannah, Georgia on Tuesday.

Moore's representative told People magazine the couple married in Savannah, Ga., but offered no details about the wedding.

A social worker liaison tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that Nadya's new house needs the following work before her babies come home:

*All lighting moved up onto the ceiling. No lamps or cords on the floor.
*Fireplace needs safety guards
*Stairs need to be re-built.
*Upstairs banister on stairs raised to enclose entire 2nd floor.
*Hypo-allergenic air filters installed
*Bunk beds can not be next to window in upstairs bedrooms.
*Blinds need to be cordless
*Storage cabinets installed

The social workers were very surprised and disappointed Nadya didn't show up for the inspection.

She should have showed up for the inspection, but I think some of their needs are not really needed. Blinds need to be cordless? All lighting moved to ceiling? Seems a bit extreme to me.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have filed a federal lawsuit against the makers of high-end baby carriages over the unauthorized use of their images.

The couple filed the suit Wednesday in U.S. District Court against Silver Cross, saying use of their images on the Silver Cross Web site to market the carriages has caused irreparable damage to both Lopez's and Anthony's public images. They also maintain there's harm to Lopez's production company as well as her product and apparel lines.

The couple believe they have suffered in excess of $5 million.

Kate Winslet says critical acclaim means nothing if her parents don't like her work.

The British actress - who is up for a Best Actress gong for her role in The Reader at Sunday's Academy Awards - insists the opinions of her mother and father are much more important to her than those of her Hollywood peers.

She says, "My dad's an actor and he's very opinionated and has specific tastes so it's not always that they've seen a film I've been in and they have lots of things to say or are extremely moved.

The document, circulating on the internet, names Kate Winslet as best actress for her role in The Reader.

The list, which features an authentic-looking letterhead, also claims British film Slumdog Millionaire will bag the best picture and best director prizes.

McCartney says, "He told me eyes are muscles (and) are just like any other muscles, and they need exercise to keep them working properly. Spending so much time at computers or (watching) the TV or reading books, we are only using one set of muscles in our eyes. The yoga gives a workout to the other ones."

Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban have donated $500,000 to charity the Red Cross in an effort to help their fellow Australians left homeless by raging bush fires.

More than 180 people have been killed in the inferno, which has destroyed more than 1,000 homes.

The couple appeared via satellite link during an Australian telethon to raise money for the country's Red Cross, during which the actress said, "Our hearts go out tonight to all the families that are dealing with the loss of loved ones and having to rebuild their lives again."

Joining the A-list couple in rallying public support were Russell Crowe, Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman, Mel Gibson, Rachel Griffiths, Orlando Bloom and his model-girlfriend Miranda Kerr, Ellen DeGeneres and a host of musicians like k.d. lang, politicians and sports legends, all of whom sent appeals asking for money on behalf of the Nine Network's Australia Unites telethon.

Jade Goody is planning to marry boyfriend Jack Tweed after being told she has only months left to live.

The Wyler Award, named after the late Genesis Award founder, Gretchen Wyler, is given to celebrities or other public figures who have made the most noise in standing up for the better treatment of animals.

Portia and Ellen both became vegans this year, saying no to every animal product, whether flesh or a byproduct. They both were active in getting the word out on Prop 2, the measure which passed in California to allow certain farm animals to move around freely.

They even share their lifestyle with people who are fortunate enough to be in their presence. The wedding reception menu was completely vegan. Ellen has given out vegan items quite a few times on her television show.

Serena and Blair may jokingly put down vegetarian food, but Gossip Girl Dreama Walker, who plays Hazel Williams on the show, is now worshiping seitan.

Walker has embarked on a 30 day vegan adventure, motivated partly by her watching the Joaquin Phoenix narrated documentary Earthlings.

So far, Dreama's enjoying it and says she will probably continue, but does what to experiment to see how her body will react to eating dairy again.

Sounds like Dreama should also pay Rob Sedgwick a visit. She absolutely loves vegan ice cream!

"It's uncanny how much the soy ice cream tastes like real ice cream!!" she exclaimed during her interview with Ecorazzi.

Steve Martin insists he's unfazed by poor reviews for his new movie The Pink Panther 2 - insisting comedy is "not a critics' medium".

"To me, Inspector Clouseau is the comedian's Hamlet. It's one of the most difficult roles to play, I think," Martin said at the Berlin Film Festival, where the film is showing out of competition.

"Comedy is not a critics' medium," he added. "It just isn't."

Christine gave birth to Hayes Logan Costner last night, coming in at 8 lbs., 15 oz., according to MSNBC.

The name Hayes is reportedly a "cowboy character" in a Western film that Costner intends on making in the future. This is second boy for the couple, who also have a son named Caden Wyatt.

Keaton's mother, Dorothy Keaton Hall, died last fall and had suffered from Alzheimer's. The actress began working on her book shortly after her mother's death.

Irish movie star Liam Neeson is considering a return as a UNICEF ambassador because he wants to fight the sex slave epidemic.

The actor quit as an UNICEF ambassador for Ireland because he feared people were tiring of seeing his face in awareness campaigns - and it wasn't serving the organization.

But he still can't forget the sex slave statistics he was privy to - and he wants to do more to expose Eastern Europe and Asia's dirty little secret.

He tells WENN, "I had access to facts and figures and numbers of children that do disappear from Eastern Europe and Asia that would make the hair on the back of your neck curl. It has been going on for many years and it still goes on. There is a big sex slave trade happening. I may have to go back to UNICEF. I got out of it because I had spent 10 years there and I thought they needed fresh blood instead of people looking at my face all the time. But it's a wonderful organisation and every now and again I'd like to do something for them."

The star of the CBS hit "CSI: Miami" told 104.3MYfm's Valentine in the Morning that commitment issues on the part of her fiancé, Joe Cappuccio, played a major role in the wedding being called off.

"I think our issues and our patterns just butted up against each other wrong, and some people are capable of breaking through those issues and patterns and learning and growing, and some people aren't," La Rue said.

"We're very excited," he told Us magazine.

Emmy winning actor Chad Lowe is about to embrace a new role: Dad.

Lowe, who split from ex wife Hilary Swank in 2007, will welcome a baby with producer Kim Painter in early summer, his rep said in a statement, adding "The couple is overjoyed and could not be happier."

Taylor Swift may be starting her own dress line but she doesn't want to be called a designer.

On Wednesday, the stunt double for Daniel "Harry Potter" Radcliffe sustained severe injuries from an on-set explosion.

The Harry Potter crew were doing some pre-production work for the seventh wizard flick at the Leavesden studios in England, where the stuntman was rehearsing a flying sequence using a harness. He was apparently sent plummeting by an on-set blast, which was part of the mocked up stunt. He was conscious after smashing to the ground but told horrified colleagues, "I can't feel my legs."

In the wake of Entertainment Weekly's having speculated Wednesday that Joaquin Phoenix - with the aid of his brother-in-law, Casey Affleck - was performing an elaborate ruse regarding his transition from Oscar-nominated actor to falling-off-the-stage rapper, Affleck's rep said this career switch is no hoax at all.

My guess is this is a very smart way of him getting free publicity. And that we should be expecting something true and talented in the future.

Oprah herself has confessed in the past that she briefly used cocaine back in the 70s, though she blamed it on her "desperate obsession" with an ex who was a drug user. However, Randolph Cook says Winfrey was using drugs and smoking crack back in the 80s!

Chyler Leigh, "Lexie," on Grey's Anatomy, is expecting baby number 3 according to People. "They (Chyler and her husband Nathan West) are absolutely thrilled and looking forward to the new addition to their young family," says her rep. The 26-year-old's pregnancy will not be written into the Grey's storyline.

Ugly Betty Star Gave Birth

Rebecca Romijn, who stars in the sitcom "Ugly Betty" on the ABC network, has given birth to twin baby girls. Romijin and her husband, Jerry O'Conell welcomed the twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, on December 28, 2008.

Romijn has been on bedrest for several months and was absent from the Ugly Betty set. No word on well she will return to Ugly Betty, but she must be enjoying her little cuties.

Emeril is popping back up on the deliciousness spotlight. In ten new books, in fact, through a deal with Martha Stewart Omnimedia Inc. - which owns the rights to the Emeril Lagasse book franchise - and publisher HarperCollins.

The kitchen cheerleader is set to release the first book, an edition on indoor and outdoor grilling, in May 2009, and though he's produced twelve books prior with HarperCollins, this will be Emeril's first in four years.

Robert De Niro was set to star alongside Mel Gibson in the new flick Edge of Darkness. He was cast to play an operative sent to clean up some evidence pertaining to the murder of a young woman. As for Gibson, he's playing the victim's father and is also a homicide detective.

De Niro actually arrived on set this week and apparently couldn't even last seven days. A spokesman for De Niro simply said, "Sometimes things don't work out; it's called creative differences."

While Scrubs has been surrounded by a lot of sad news about the stars departing from the television series despite its endurance to air another season, fans are still hopeful that the show will come back even stronger with season 8 moving to ABC. This spawns from creator Bill Lawrence's statement that he definitely wants the show to go on forever, or at least until its ninth season.

However, fans are pondering how he would pull this off with stars Zack Braff and Judy Reyes announcing their departure from the show.

In a move that a critic warned would "spark late-night chaos," NBC announced that Jay Leno would leave his spot on The Tonight Show on May 29, 2009. On June 1, The Late Show host Conan O'Brien would take over his spot.

Jimmy Fallon is not worried. The Saturday Night Live alum will take the spot to be vacated by O'Brien next year. At the same time, Saturday Night Live long-time producer Michael Shoemaker will reportedly oversee production on the upcoming Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, after being with Saturday Night Live for 20 years.

Julia Roberts has signed up to help raise money for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria by designing a T-shirt for Giorgio Armani's (RED) label.

The Global Fund was started by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 and has already received over $110 million from RED-brand apparel and events.

Julia's design simply has the words, "revolution. evolution. devotion" arched over a tree of life that Roberts' herself created.

Pop star Pink would rather adopt a child than give birth - because there are too many people in the world already.

The singer, real name Alecia Moore, and first-husband Carey Hart split in February. The Trouble hit-maker insists she hasn't given up hope of having a family - but would rather "rescue" a child through adoption than have one of her own.

She tells Star Magazine: "I don't know if I need to have my own (children). I rescue dogs, so I would probably rescue kids. I feel like with global warming and all, why produce more? Foster parent. Adoption."

Shia LaBeouf's lawyers are now saying that the actor's hand was "crushed" in the car accident he was involved with last week. We found Shia relaxing outside his Los Angeles hospital on a smoke break with his left hand and arm in a cast (and blood stains on his jeans) but Shia could still face complications. Shia's attorney Michael Norris released a statement saying, "His doctors remain hopeful that he will fully recover, but due to extensive surgery and the nature of the injuries, there remains a substantial risk of both infection and other complications."

Shia's injury will delay the filming of Transformers 2 however it will probably be written into the script.

Sadly, Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer her rep confirmed Saturday.

"Benefitting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening," the Emmy nominated Samantha Who? star's rep said in a statement. "Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery."

The Happening star Mark Wahlberg revealed to Usmagazine.com that he and his fiance, model Rhea Durham, will be expecting their third child, a boy, "around the third of September."

The couple are already parents to 4-year-old Ella and 2-year-old Michael.

Former child star Brian Bonsall is in trouble again.

Bonsall, who's currently 26, played Michael J. Fox's little brother, Andy Keaton, on the '80s show Family Ties. He also stared in Star Trek: The Next Generation in the '90s.

The out of work actor was charged last year for assaulting his girlfriend.

And, now, he's being accused of violating his probation.

As you may have heard by now, Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins Knox Leon (after Pitt's grandfather) and Vivienne Marcheline (after Jolie's mother) via Cesarean Saturday. According to sources inside the hospital, the surgery was original scheduled for Monday but was moved up due to Jolie's weak condition. Several reports quote Jolie's doctor, Michael Sussman, as saying proud papa Pitt cut the umbilical cords of the two newest members of the Jolie-Pitt soccer team, and that Angie was in good spirits during the procedure, talking and laughing with Pitt and her doctor.

We hear that Getty is scheduled to do the photo shoot of Angelina Jolie's new twins on Monday. Knox and Vivienne are officially entering the celebrity media machine, and it's about time! The twist, of course, is that the bidding war between OK! and People for the rights to the photos is still ongoing. The price was hovering between $11 and $12 million this morning, and we hear it hasn't been decided yet.

General Hospital actor Ingo Rademacher (Jax) and his fiance Ehiku welcomed their first child, a son, on July 11th. The baby boy was named (drumroll, please) Peanut Kai Rademacher. He weighed in a 7lbs, 6 oz and measured 20 1/2 inches in length.

Brad Pitt and Edward Norton met up in Italy to see Radiohead perform from their V.I.P. section. Wearing a straw fedora and sporting a mustache and goatee, Pitt left his Chateau Mirival home in the south of France - where he's awaiting the impending arrival of his twins with Angelina Jolie.

Norton has told interviewers in the past that he and Pitt share a passion for Radiohead's early work.

In case you wanted to know what Jessica Simpson has to say about her sister Ashlee and Ashlee's new husband Pete Wentz. We all knew she was pregnant and now that it has been confirmed, Jessica has spoken to the folks at People.com.

"She'll be amazing, absolutely amazing," Jessica Simpson, 27, told PEOPLE in Las Vegas Saturday at the grand opening of Palms Place.

"They're just the cutest couple in the world," she says. "They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well. Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about."

Ted Kennedy will undergo brain surgery this morning. The Senator himself has released the following statement:

I am humbled by the outpouring and am strengthened by your prayers and kindness. Over the past several days, VICKI and I, along with my outstanding team of doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital, have consulted with experts from around the country and have decided that the best course of action for my brain tumor is targeted surgery followed by chemotherapy and radiation. This morning, I will be undergoing surgery with DR. ALLEN FRIEDMAN at Duke University Medical Center and expect to remain there to recuperate for approximately one week. Shortly thereafter, I will start radiation treatments at Massachusetts General Hospital and begin chemotherapy. After completing treatment, I look forward to returning to the United States Senate and to doing everything I can to help elect BARACK OBAMA as our next president."

Michael Douglas met with top senators in Washington D.C. on Wednesday in a bid to make sure the next U.S. President and his advisers will be anti-nuclear. The actor met with Indiana Senator Richard Lugar, among others, to urge them to prevent the spread and use of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons as a director of the Ploughshares Fund organization, which is dedicated to making the world a safer place.

Douglas admits his meetings went well and he's hopeful that America will be doing what it can to trade in peace in the coming years.

Amy Winehouse got out of her vehicle and began roaming around the motorway. The singer was stuck in a traffic jam when she exited the car she was riding in, and walked from car to car attempting to find a cigarette lighter from her fellow motorists.

At one point she pulled up her purple vest to bare her midriff as she did a spot of sun baking while leaning on the bonnet of a car.

In a troubling sign, the 24-year-old's arms were covered in fresh scratches and cigarette burns, thought to be the result of self-harming.

Star magazine is reporting that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting twin girls in July. "Brad can't wait - he absolutely adores little girls," a "family insider" tells the tabloid. Baby Mama star Amy Poehler, 36, and her husband, actor Will Arnett, 37, are expecting their first child together. The baby is due sometime this fall.

One of the icons of the celebrity baby names world is Pilot Inspektor, the four-year-old son of actors Jason Lee and Beth Riesgraf (now Splitsville). Lee's new girlfriend, Ceren Alkac, is expecting a baby in the fall. It's the first child for the couple. How on earth are they going to find a name that can hold its own against Pilot Inspektor?

I think naming the child after a chipmunk would be funny, but I admit I wouldn't do it. And I doubt Lee will either.

In other news but also related to baby names, Matthew McConaughey is said to be in favor of naming his upcoming son, expected in July, after his favorite beer.

The high-testosterone star apparently loves to chug a Budweiser now and then, so his name of choice for the baby is Bud. Hmmm. I'm not digging it, reminds me of "Married With Children..." and that's not a good thing.

Joshua Morrow, star of soap The Young and the Restless, and his lovely wife, Tobe, have a new son! Their third, Cash Joshua Morrow, born on Monday April 21, at a Los Angeles area hospital. He weighed in a healthy 6 lbs., 15 oz.

The actor's rep told PEOPLE, "Mom is amazing and beautiful as ever and Cash is perfect. It was a very drama-free birth."

Cash as two big brothers - Cooper, 5 1/2, and Crew, who is almost 3.

Oh and did you know, Jennifer Lopez is going to star in a TLC reality show about raising her twins.

Could Elizabeth Hurley be pregnant? People seem to think so since Elton John warmly welcomed her at the Hottest Pink Party Ever charity event last week, and Elton John was overheard congratulating her and husband Arun Nayar. Word on the gossip hill is he also patted her belly.

I am sure it will be confirmed, or not, within a week. Either way she'll continue to be gorgeous and glow regardless. =o)

Good thing she already did a great deal of work on her line of beach wear. She has been doing bikinis under her own name, Elizabeth Hurley Beach, for three years now. Somehow I think I would look entirely different in her designs than she anticipated.

According to reports, the newly engaged Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are expecting their first child! The baby is due in October, and the parents-to-be are ecstatic with joy. Ashlee, 23 and Pete, 28, have been together just 18 months.

Little Ignatius weighed 7.9 pounds and is said to be a healthy baby boy. Congrats to them!

Singer and actor, Sam Harris, 46, and his partner Danny Jacobsen welcomed their first child on Wednesday 9th April 2008. Their son Cooper Atticus Harris-Jacobson was born in LA, weighing in at 7 lbs. 3oz.

Former Full House star, Jodie Sweetin and her husband, Cody Herpin, welcomed a baby girl, Zoie. She was delivered via C-section Saturday afternoon, and arrived weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz. and is 21 in. long.

"Jodie says that she and her husband and family are absolutely thrilled and in love with baby Zoie," says a rep for the actress.

Actress Elisabeth Rohm and her fiancé, entrepreneur Ron Wooster, welcomed their first child - a baby girl - on April 10th. They named their daughter Easton August. The name "Easton" came to Rohm in a dream, according to Rohm's publicist. Easton came into the world weighing 6 lbs, 13 oz. and measuring 18 inches in length. Her original due date was April 28, which also happened to be Rohm's birthday!

Coronation Street stars Tina O'Brien, 24, and Ryan Thomas, 23, are expecting their first child together. A rep for the couple said,

"Ryan and Tina can confirm they are expecting a baby and are absolutely delighted at the happy news."

In other news, Nicole Richie is busy busy busy while her love is off touring. She's also working on both her jewelry line and now an upcoming line of maternity clothes, which is expecting to debut later this year. I think that is awesome, because I know good maternity clothes are few and far between.

Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Tony Dovolani and his wife Lina are expecting twins, People magazine has learned. The couple already have a two-year-old daughter, Luana.

Good grief, more twins. It is sweet though and I am happy for them of course. Maybe this is some sort of generation baby twin boom or something.

Tony told People magazine, "everything is great" with his wife's pregnancy, which is four months along. Lina is 26.

"Kids are a blessing and give your life purpose and meaning," he said.

Christina Aguilera was paid $1.5 million for a photograph of her baby. Jennifer Lopez was paid $6 million for her a photograph of her twins. However, both of these pale in comparison to Angelina’s babies. According to National Enquirer editor Barry Levine, Angelina's twins may command almost $10 million. Whoa. But you know something, she and Brad would probably end up adopting another child with that money...or donating it to starving people in Africa.

To further prove to the world that she is getting her act together and maintaining said act; Britney Spears is now going to take part in the Kid's Choice Awards. However, people are speculating a reunion between her and Federline. As far as I am concerned, such a reunion would be hazardous to all of the improvement in her life and I don't believe the rumors are true.

I do think the two will be able to have an amicable relationship for their children, but anything romantic would be disastrous.

The $6 million dollar magazine cover everyone has been talking about since before Jennifer Lopez's babies were even born.

It has been talked about so much that I don't even really care. But again, I am happy the babies and mama are healthy. You can definitely tell they are the children of Marc Anthony. Especially the profile of the baby on the right of the cover.

And here is another reason I hate South Park...

On South Park, singer Britney Spears' cartoon doppelganger will blast her head off with a shotgun and then be photographed to death. Evilness. I don't know why that show still exists. It's not funny, it is offensive and insensitive. Maybe someday the creators will have a loved one who needs mental help and then they can create a skit about the suicide of that person. Jerks.

Rachel Bilson is designing her own lines of jeans for DKNY. Good grief. I love her, you know I'm going to have to buy them now!

And when in the world is Halle Berry going to have that baby. Well. Now. Word on the street is Halle Berry delivered a baby girl this morning, 7 lbs. and 4 oz. It is about time, she seemed to be pregnant forever! I know she is diabetic, or maybe it was just gestational diabetes which I am sure didn't help the weight gain. I hope all went well for her and baby berry. Although the name is still unknown, the baby girl will take Halle's dad's last name with is Aubry.

The only thing recent and green I could find for entertainment purposes was a picture of Cindy Crawford and her little boy Presley. How can she look so posh wearing something so normal. Note her flip flops and his sneakers which appear to have lifts. Hehe. He seems to be going through a punkish stage, but he is still adorable.

Melissa Joan Hart and husband Mark Wilkerson welcomed their second child, a son, on Wednesday. Braydon Hart Wilkerson was born at 3 p.m. in Los Angeles after 10 hours of labor, weighing 7 lbs., 3 oz.

Bummer for ten hours of labor, I hope she is sleeping right now all cuddled with her little boy. My son's name is Braeden, so to see they named their son Braydon made me smile.

And in other entertainment news...

Please don't get me wrong, I like Rachel Ray, I do. I enjoy her cooking show because she does have great recipes. But even I have to admit she has to give things a break. Too much of a good thing doesn't even begin to describe what happened. It felt like she had 100 shows on air and I was getting sick of seeing her face plastered everywhere.

So I'm not disappointed that her day-time talk show is getting cut. As far as I can tell they are pulling it off air once the contract expires. The ratings have dropped significantly over the last several months. I guess I'm not the only one who was getting sick of her.

The judge in the Britney Spears' conservatorship case ruled that Britney Spears' estate pay Jamie Spears $2,500 a week and allow him to lease a car while he handles Britney's affairs. The ruling was made Wednesday according to court documents that the press got a hold of yesterday.

The AP reports:
Goetz also ordered Spears' estate to make a $58,800 payment to Samuel D. Ingham III, the court-appointed attorney who represents Britney Spears in the conservatorship case. She also authorized the pop star's psychiatrist to hire two other doctors and pay them retainers totaling $9,000 from her estate.

My hope is that he'll use that money to pay for her medical treatments and court fees in getting visitation back. If he doesn't, then he's just as much of a loser as the other men in her life.

Brooke Burke is celebrating the arrival of her fourth child, her rep has confirmed to In Touch. She gave birth to her first son - and second child with fiance David Charvet - at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20.25inches long. The couple have a daughter, Heaven Rain, who was born in January 2007, and Brooke also has two girls - Neriah, 7, and Sierra, 5 - with her first husband.

The stars of Sex and the City have dropped hints about the question on the minds of all fans: what happens in the upcoming movie? "Something major happens that fundamentally changes who Carrie is," Sarah Jessica Parker told LOGO’s NewNowNext.

Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twin babies last night. She and her husband, Marc Anthony, are elated!

The babies were born early Friday in Long Island, N.Y. The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. and weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz., and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m., weighing 6 lbs.

"Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," Lopez's manager Simon Fields told People magazine.

Although names were not released, it was reported last month that Jennifer received I.D. bracelets baring the names "Max" and "Emme."

A great big congrats to them!

What!? Why would Heidi Klum offer to take in Britney Spears? That just seems so bizarre to me. Though everything surrounding Brit is bizarre, but even so I'm surprised. I wonder if she really meant it. Ima gonna have to dig deeper on that story.

In other entertainment news...

The movie "Jumper" did well this first weekend of being in the theaters. Hayden Christensen plays a young man who discovers that he has a genetic abnormality that allows him to teleport or "jump" anywhere in the world, but he also finds out that there is a war to annihilate "jumpers" like him. Also starring the cutie Rachel Bilson (who is reportedly dating Hayden), Samuel Jackson and Diane Lane.

Dog loving fool Paris Hilton turned 27 years old today. Wahoo. Blah.

Rumors are circulating that Minnie Driver might be pregnant. Driver is dating a man named Matthew who lives in England, but that's all I have been able to dig up.

Prince and the Village People plan to sue a Swedish website for allowing users to download their songs without permission. However, attorneys representing the music acts admit securing the lawsuit is proving difficult because they cannot identify the culprits. Lol. Shouldn't they just be happy that people still want to listen to their music. Hehe.

And there is some trash going around about Dinner: Impossible chef, Robert Irvine. The gossip states he has lied about most of his credentials as a chef before being on the Food Network. I don't know what is true, but I do like watching his show and it does seem he has a lot of experience. If he owes people money then he needs to pay up though, I can't stand moochers. It's also being reported that he lied about his college degree, his being a "knight" in England and his having been a full-time chef at the White House. Oh tis a great shame when people fib.

Why?

Because Kevin Federline (also Britney Spears's rodent-like ex-husband) is doing three episodes where he plays a struggling musician whom one of the characters will try to help.

Bleck.

He is a terrible rapper, father, person and actor.



In other more important and far better news the rumors about celebrity pregnancies today include Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carey. The couple have been seeing each other for several years now and Jenny is constantly gushing about how great Jim is with her son. Wowzers! I'm excited for thems if this is true.

The way she fawns over her precious dog, you'd think Paris Hilton liked animals. Apparently though she had adopted a kitten only to neglect it.

The Kris Kelly Foundation rescued poor kitty Prada, from the vet after Paris abandoned it when she took Prada in to be neutered. Kris Kelly herself called Hilton to come get the cat, but says her calls went ignored. Kelly says: "It's a clear-cut case of abandonment."

Paris' reps have been quoted saying she thought the kitty would be delivered home from the vet, like a pizza. The kitten was at the vet for THREE WEEKS. Poor Prada. =o(

In other celebrity news, you all know how I follow celebrity pregnancies. Well, rumor has it that Fergie is pregnant though this hasn't been confirmed. She and fiance Josh Duhamel, are moving up their wedding date and she bought a gown while in New York for the Grammys. She still looked great in the big bird yellow dress she worem but some are saying they spied a baby bump.

Drew Barrymore needed a good guy, one to keep her balanced and happy. It's so great to see this couple looking happy and googly eyed with each other. I know a lot of press are knocking their PDA but I think holding hands, smiling big and staying close to each other is something we need to see more of in LA. I just can't stand the couples who not only make out in public, but practically do each other with their clothes on. Bleck!

They have a movie coming out on August 1st, "He's Just Not That Into You."

Oh and in the world of celebrity babies the rumor is that Angelina Jolie is pregnant. But now there is word that Gwen Stefani is expecting her second child with husband Gavin Rossdale. =o) Gwen was asked if Gavin is being supportive and her response was, "He makes whatever food I crave." How sweet!

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves are going to be parents! In regards to the news, McConaughey says, "Got some blessed news ... a celebration of life and a bounty .. a newborn conceived ... yes, my girlfriend Camila and I made a baby together ... it's 3 months growin' in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far ... we are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God.." Brad Renfro, age 25, was found dead yesterday in his California home by his girlfriend. Foul play is not suspected; Renfro was an admitted heroin and methadone addict. Very sad.

He wrote an entry on his personal blog defending her after recent attacks from Dallas fans that she has been nothing but bad luck since she and Tony Romo started dating. On Friday, January 11th, Courtney Thorne-Smith and her husband Roger Fishman welcomed son Jacob 'Jake' Emerson.

Nicole Richie gave birth to a baby girl the same day at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Harlow Winter Kate Madden (whoa) weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz.

The next day, Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman welcomed a baby boy. Max Liron Bratman, who weighed 6 lbs 2oz. he is 20.5 inches and was also born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Hmmm....me thinks this means April is a good month to get it on. Hehe.

Next up will be Halle Berry and then perhaps Melissa Joan Hart...? Vice versa?

Time for your celebrity updates...

I'm sure by now you have all heard that Britney's little sister, Jamie Lynn, is pregnant. She is sixteen years old and says she is very surprised by all of this... She has told reporters when it comes to premarital sex y'all should WAIT. Clearly, do not follow the example of anyone with the last name of Spears.

Lily Allen, age 22, is pregnant. We think the father Ed Simons a member of the band "The Chemical Brothers." The two have been dating since September.

Some time around June we can expect a little Alba baby. Jessica Alba and her boyfriend Cash Warren are expecting their first child together. The two have been dating since 2004 (on again and off again). She is 26 years old and he is 28.

Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster), is pregnant with her second child and she hopes she will have the same birthing coach in the room as she did when her daughter Poet Sienna was born. Who could that be? Demi Moore. Frye says, “She's the best birthing coach in the entire universe."

Actress Helena Bonham Carter and her director boyfriend Tim Burton welcomed a baby girl on Saturday, reports People.com. This is their second child, she is now the little sister of their four-year-old Billy.

There are rumors floating around that Victoria Beckham is pregnant with her fourth child, but I have not found anything to confirm that tidbit.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is NOT pregnant. Since she got engaged there have been rumors, but we are told the rumors are false.

Word on the street says Nicolette Sheridan and fiance Michael Bolton are expecting their first child together.

She always looks like she is glowing to me, I think she has radiant hair. But perhaps the glow right now is from a little one. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but who knows. She is 44 years old which would probably make her a higher risk pregnancy, but who's to halt the miracle of life, right?

Michael Bolton is 53 years old and has three daughters from a previous marriage.

I must say I don't watch Desperate Housewives but I would be curious to see if they work this into the script for her character. Though it would also be amusing to see how well they hide it.

We already knew it, but now the news has officially been confirmed. Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony are expecting their first child.

Designer Roberto Cavalli has confirmed that Jennifer Lopez is indeed pregnant. When asked who he is designing for, he responded: "Well Jennifer Lopez, as this moment, she requests something very special because she is waiting for the baby."

Cavalli designed multiple loose-fitting and flowing outfits for the 38-year-old singer, who is on tour with husband Marc Anthony.

It's an exciting time. As a Mom I know how special carrying a babe can be and I certainly hope she is doing well and that she and the baby are healthy.

Admittedly this story has me cracking up. Movie star and singer Jennifer Lopez is arguing with Spiegel Limousine Corporation over a $16,000 bill she received. Actually, she is being billed for more than $16,000 in limousine charges for services rendered during the July premiere of her Spanish-language movie "El Cantante."

Apparently the disagreement with Spiegel was in regards to how much is owed for time when the cars had to wait for passengers.

Jennifer Lopez's husband Marc Anthony has hinted that his wife is pregnant with their first child while performing with her over the weekend.

According to People magazine, Anthony dedicated his performance of the song 'Faithfully' to his wife.

He said of the track: "It's a real personal song. This song has a whole new significance."

Anthony later got a loud cheer when he sang the lyrics: "They say that the road ain't no place to start a family".

Maybe money is tight now that the couple is expecting but y'all still gotta pay your bills...I'd say you have had enough time to do so since you received it in July. Good grief!

Red Hot Chili Pepper front man Anthony Kiedis, 44, and his girlfriend, model Heather Christie, 22, welcomed a boy this morning. Perez Hilton reports the baby boy was born in a Los Angeles Hospital.

This is the first child for the couple.

Anyone know the name yet? And are mama and baby healthy?

I hope so!
