Beckham Bash

First of all it amuses me when reporters refer to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes as Tom & Katie. Second of all it irritates me that I automatically know who they are talking about when I see those two names together in a headline.

The Beckhams move to the US and apparently it's a huge big deal.

"None other than power couples Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith will host a private party for the Beckhams at the Museum of Contemporary Art in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday." (Excerpt from People magazine)

Why all the fuss? And why big profile names throwing a party, aren't they moving here because David Beckham is joining the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team? Shouldn't there be some sort of soccer party thing?

I don't know. I think it's silly. But hey, maybe the soccer team will be invited, too.

    No you didn't!

    Lol, shamefully this is totally cracking me up.
    Gay pop icon Rufus Wainwright has attacked Beyonce Knowles for force-feeding music fans meaningless and "formulaic" hits. The cult singer identifies Knowles among the worst performers currently making hit singles because not enough thought goes into her R&B songs.
    Lordy, lordy the drama!

    Maybe this will start a song battle. Lol. I totally think Eminem will be including this pettiness in his next bashing rap song.

    Keeping up with the brities

    Cele-brities that is...

    You know you all do it. Maybe you aren't looking for celebrity gossip online, but how many of you can honestly say that you don't read the tabloids in the aisle of the grocery store or department store? Hmmm? Oh you know do you.

    Well for people like me, who would spend 24 hours on her computer if she could, it's fun for me to see what the latest celebrity gossip is and trust me when I say it is NOT hard to find. There I go comparing the aisles of super markets to the web, hahaha.

    You may not be comfortable discussing the latest hearsay with those behind you in line, but when it comes to the Internet you can easily comment on what people are saying. It's so wrong to gossip, and half the things you hear are bologna but it's still entertaining. Especially celebrity gossip sites that aggregate all the latest news out on the web and allow readers to not only comment, but to also vote on their favorite stories.

    The hot celebrity gossip online right now is of course all about Paris Hilton and her latest fan letters. Head on over and check it out.

    Can you seduce a celebrity?

    A date with Mirelly Taylor is up for grabs thanks to the good people at GoFish.com. Mirelly has appeared on movies such as Kiss Me Again and Serving Sara and television shows including "Las Vegas", "Punk'd", and "Numb3rs".
    To win a date with her you need to submit a video to their website. As viewers, like myself, we can see free videos at GoFish.com and vote for who we think should win.



    This is such a cool concept, though I don't know how long they will be able to keep it up. I think Mirelly is a great sport for participating in the contest. Andrew Firestone from the hit show "The Bachelor" helps her to explain the whole idea of the videos. They give you "calls-to-action" to help you "seduce" Mirelly. It's all very fun to watch and with 48 videos already submitted and online, there are quite a few laughs to go around. I won't be submitting, sorry Mirelly, no hard feelings. But I can't imagine one single male out there who wouldn't be picking up a video camera right now!
