Mischa Barton has a job! She's been cast in a CW show produced by Ashton Kutcher. "Ashton developed it about his life growing up as a model from Iowa, so it's about the whole fashion world that he was in, and obviously I have a lot of friends in the fashion world, so I'm used to being around a lot of people in that," Barton says. "[I play] a bitchy model-type character, like it's a totally different character for me."

The Hollywood Reporter says that Barton will star in the pilot episode for the planned series 'A Beautiful Life'.

It follows the lives of a group of male and female supermodels who share a home in New York.

ET senior producer Bonnie Tiegel met face to face with Howard K. Stern just hours after he posted bail on charges alleging he supplied drugs to Anna Nicole Smith.

"Howard is devastated and he intends to fight these charges," Bonnie Tiegel says after her exclusive meeting with Stern.

Stern and two doctors Sandeep Kapoor, and Khristine Eroshevich were accused of multiple felonies on Thursday night.

Blake Lively says Gossip Girl is holding back her movie career.

The 21-year-old actress - who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the hit TV show - says she has been so busy filming the teen drama that it's been impossible to take up film offers coming her way.

She explains, "We shoot nine months out of the year, so there are so many films I can't do.

"On my latest movie I would go and take a day off from Gossip Girl in New York and go to Connecticut and shoot that and then come back the next day. And they don't really like to share you."

Keira Knightley has turned down the chance to reprise her role in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, insisting she's "done" with the franchise.

The actress made her name in Hollywood playing aristocrat-turned-swashbuckler Elizabeth Swann in the hit Disney trilogy.

A fourth movie is in the works, with Johnny Depp already onboard to play Captain Jack Sparrow one more time. But Knightley is keen to move on from the role.

"It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again. I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And he (Depp) is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful.

A new Nike ad pitching men against women is launched today.

It features Eva Longoria (yeah, cause she's sporty), in best Desperate Housewives mode, throwing real life husband Tony Parker's trainers off the balcony of their high rise flat and then his triumph in revenge.

Tennis ace Rodger Federer, Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, long distance runner Paula Radcliffe, hip hop dancer Sofia Boutella and Liverpool hot-shot Fernando Torres also make appearances.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has weighed in on the Jessica Simpson 'fat' debate - to say she wishes everyone would stop debating the star's weight.

The actress is the latest famous name to speak out in support of the Dukes Of Hazzard star after she became the butt (pun intended) of jokes about her heavier new look.

"I wish they would leave her alone," she tells Usmagazine.com.

Jennifer found her own body shape the centre of attention in 2007 after she was snapped flaunting her ample curves in a bikini while on holiday.

It appears the age difference finally caught up with Heroes co-stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia who has reportedly split dues to "a lifestyle conflict."

The two stars are believed to have ended their year-long romance last week but remain on friendly terms.

Teri Hatcher doesn't believe in dieting.

The Desperate Housewives actress, 44, insists slobbing on the couch and scoffing crisps and sweets once in a while does everybody good.

She says, "I am kind of a moderation person. I don't believe in dieting, I don't get all the Botox and the fillers and that stuff because I feel that we should embrace getting older and I want to be real about that and represent that instead of trying to cover it up.

Then why does it look like someone laid her skin over a middle school science teacher's skeleton?

Producers have told Celebuzz.com that to make sure viewers don't abandon them, they've got extra-special plans for Teri Hatcher and Eva Longoria Parker.

"Anything is kind of possible right now," the unnamed exec said. "I don't think a kiss between Eva and Teri's characters could be ruled out, especially if it keeps people interested in the show."

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden kicked off a new fundraiser for the Richie-Madden Children's Foundation at a Marble Slab Creamery yesterday in LA. With their new effort, if you text the world "child" to 90999, a $5 donation charge will be sent to the foundation and automatically added to your phone bill. While at the event, Nicole and Joel couldn't help but gush about their inspiration for all the giving back — Harlow.

Donatella Versace attended Marc Anthony's surprise birthday party for his 40th birthday at NYC's Bowery Hotel on Sunday. The designer brought along her 22 year old daughter, Allegra Beck Versace, who has made headlines for the past few years due to her major eating disorder.

Donatella and Allegra released a joint statement last year admitting Allegra's health problem, and said she was being treated at UCLA's hospital for anorexia. The anorexia announcement came days after a tab claimed Allegra's weight had dropped to 70 pounds.

I am pleased to know she has been seen out and about. I certainly hope she is receiving the proper help. =o)

My guess is she now weighs 100 lbs and this is considered fat in Hollywood.

So far Sarah Palin is getting an "F" with celebrities. I think about 20 people have come out and bashed her. Lindsay and Sam posted a rant on Linz's official MySpace page denouncing the VP candidate and calling her a "narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe."

They further discussed Sarah's lack of qualifications, once again, in a surprisingly intelligent manner. Samantha must have a bit of a brain upstairs handling the writing duties for the duo.

"I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be… Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she’s FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land…. Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country."

Can I say WOW?!! Marathons are already hard, but a triathlon? So much harder! But that didn't stop Jennifer Lopez the diva from joining and getting down & dirty for charity! According to reports, J.Lo finished the Nautica Malibu Triathlon in three and a half hours early today. The singer smiled as she crossed the finish line after swimming, biking and running. Jennifer Lopez also told the onlookers, "Thank you guys so much. This is an amazing day!"
