Mary-Kate Olsen was turning heads at the Metropolitan Opera last night, but was it for the right reasons?
Known for her quirky outfits, the fashionista stepped out in a floor-length gown assessorised with a silver waist belt and clutch.
The star wore her hair in big tousled curls and, for make-up, opted for a bright red pout and smoky eyes.
She reminds me of Michelle Pfeiffer in this photo.
Claire Danes, Claudia Schiffer, Becki Newton, Diane Kruger and Kayne West with girlfriend Amber Rose all made an appearance.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has fallen victim to the current global economic downturn - her New York gym is struggling to pull in members.
The Shakespeare In Love star teamed up with her personal trainer Tracy Anderson - who also works with Madonna - to launch a worldwide chain of gyms. However, the duo hadn't anticipated the credit crunch and are worried that not enough people are signed up at the New York facility, which is set to open later this year. Workers at the gym are cold-calling people to try and persuade them to join, according to New York gossip column PageSix.
A person who was contacted by the gym says, "It's ridiculous. Membership is like $4,500 to join and then hundreds of dollars a month. Who can afford that right now?"

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly told friends it was her decision to end her romance with rocker John Mayer. The singer-guitarist was rumored to have dumped the former Friends actress last week after she returned from promoting her latest movie Marley & Me in Europe.
But, according to U.K. newspaper The Sun, it was Aniston's decision to end the relationship - after Mayer became distant following an appearance at the Academy Awards last month.

Drew Barrymore has fueled speculation she's rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend Justin Long - after the pair were seen locking lips in Los Angeles Thursday night.
The duo - who split in July 2008 after dating on and off for over a year - were on hiatus while promoting their movie, He's Just Not That Into You.
She'd be lucky to get him back.

Actor Ron Silver, who won a Tony Award as a take-no-prisoners Hollywood producer in David Mamet's "Speed-the-Plow" and did a political about-face from loyal Democrat to Republican activist after the Sept. 11 attacks, died Sunday at the age of 62.
"Ron Silver died peacefully in his sleep with his family around him early Sunday morning" in New York City, said Robin Bronk, executive director of the Creative Coalition, which Silver helped found. "He had been fighting esophageal cancer for two years."
Silver, an Emmy nominee for a recurring role as a slick strategist for liberal President Jed Bartlet on "The West Wing," had a long history of balancing acting with left-leaning social and political causes.

Brad Pitt isn't surprised that people are interested in his family.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star - who raises six children with partner Angelina Jolie - can understand why his life garners so much attention, and insists he sees it as a "compliment".
"Well, I think we are an interesting family," Pitt explains. "It's not your usual family. I'm quite interested in my family actually.
That's great Brad, good to know you're interested in your own family, ya shmuck.

A new cast member has been revealed in the "Gossip Girl" prequel starring Kelly Rutherford.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' star Krysten Ritter will play the sister of Lily van der Woodsen (Rutherford) in the "Gossip Girl" Spin-off.
After a misunderstanding with her parents, Lily will be forced to move to the San Fernando Valley to live with her sister, and she will have to adjust to a more modest lifestyle instead of the luxurious life she previously enjoyed.
Really? I don't even like the first show, why would I watch a spin off.

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman are set to star in a new comedy.
According to Variety, Jennifer will play a woman who wants to have a child by means of artificial insemination and Bateman will play her best friend who secretly switches his sperm with the anonymous donor's. (I think they did this on the soap opera All My Children once.)
Will Speck and Josh Gordon are set to direct the film.
