Mischa Barton has a job! She's been cast in a CW show produced by Ashton Kutcher. "Ashton developed it about his life growing up as a model from Iowa, so it's about the whole fashion world that he was in, and obviously I have a lot of friends in the fashion world, so I'm used to being around a lot of people in that," Barton says. "[I play] a bitchy model-type character, like it's a totally different character for me."The Hollywood Reporter says that Barton will star in the pilot episode for the planned series 'A Beautiful Life'.
It follows the lives of a group of male and female supermodels who share a home in New York.

ET senior producer Bonnie Tiegel met face to face with Howard K. Stern just hours after he posted bail on charges alleging he supplied drugs to Anna Nicole Smith.
"Howard is devastated and he intends to fight these charges," Bonnie Tiegel says after her exclusive meeting with Stern.
Stern and two doctors Sandeep Kapoor, and Khristine Eroshevich were accused of multiple felonies on Thursday night.

Blake Lively says Gossip Girl is holding back her movie career.
The 21-year-old actress - who plays Serena van der Woodsen in the hit TV show - says she has been so busy filming the teen drama that it's been impossible to take up film offers coming her way.
She explains, "We shoot nine months out of the year, so there are so many films I can't do.
"On my latest movie I would go and take a day off from Gossip Girl in New York and go to Connecticut and shoot that and then come back the next day. And they don't really like to share you."

Keira Knightley has turned down the chance to reprise her role in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie, insisting she's "done" with the franchise.
The actress made her name in Hollywood playing aristocrat-turned-swashbuckler Elizabeth Swann in the hit Disney trilogy.
A fourth movie is in the works, with Johnny Depp already onboard to play Captain Jack Sparrow one more time. But Knightley is keen to move on from the role.
"It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again. I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And he (Depp) is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful.

A new Nike ad pitching men against women is launched today.
It features Eva Longoria (yeah, cause she's sporty), in best Desperate Housewives mode, throwing real life husband Tony Parker's trainers off the balcony of their high rise flat and then his triumph in revenge.
Tennis ace Rodger Federer, Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, long distance runner Paula Radcliffe, hip hop dancer Sofia Boutella and Liverpool hot-shot Fernando Torres also make appearances.

After hearing my husband knew about Hilary Duff possibly being engaged before I knew...well, then I realized the gossip queen was falling WAY behind in her Entertainment segment of Bring Me Up. After winning gold medal number seven of these Olympics by one hundreth of a second on Saturday, record setting gold number eight seemed to come a little easier for Michael Phelps Sunday morning in Beijing. Joined by his teammates Jason Lezak, Brendan Hansen and Aaron Peirsol, the USA claimed gold in the 4x100 medley relay setting a world record as they did it. The headline of course belongs to Michael Phelps and his 8 gold medals, surpassing the record set by Mark Spitz at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

As expected, Ellen and Portia de Rossi were married Saturday afternoon. Their rep said,"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles." The women announced their engagement back in May. The wedding was attended by 19 guests including both of their mothers.

John Mayer reveals the reasons behind his split with Jennifer Aniston.
"People have different chemistry, they have different lives," John tells the mag. "It's not about years, it's about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out. He's only been a daddy for a little over a month now, but Matthew McConaughey already has words of wisdom for his baby son Levi, born to he and girlfriend Camila Alves last month.
In an interview with CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the 'Fool's Gold' star says he's going to give Levi the same advice his own father gave him: "Don't lie and don't say 'I can't.'"
Meanwhile, the buff actor goes on to say that his son will only eat organic food and will not be allowed goodies like gum, soda or candy!
