In case you were wondering what Cindy Crawford is up to now, here's the scoop. Supermodel Cindy Crawford has been making appearances this weekend in Madison, Wisconsin to raise awareness of pediatric cancer.

Crawford's younger brother, Jeff, was a patient at University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital. The boy died of leukemia in 1975 just before his fourth birthday.

Crawford is the honorary chair of Kids with Courage, which had its fourth reunion of childhood cancer survivors Saturday in Madison.

After her two divorces from actors Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke, the Kill Bill star swore she'd never marry again. But now, in her first interview since her engagement to Swiss multimillionaire Arpad "Arki" Busson was announced, Thurman tells the U.K.'s Sunday Times Style magazine that she's happy to go back on her word.

"I'm going to have to retract my statement of never," she says. "I'll have to eat my words - what a surprise."

Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy may spend more time showing off their big hearts than big senses of humor these days, but the laughs haven't gone anywhere. The hilarious duo hammed it up on the 4th of July by taking turns sporting Jenny's sexy black bathing suit for walks on the Malibu beach. You know, Jim kinda pulls it off (heh) though seriously he's looking pretty fit these days alongside his hot girlfriend. The rest of the weekend was a little more mellow, but full of laughs with Jim's daughter Jane and Jenny's little Evan joining in on the fun at Jim's oceanside house.

Shame, shame, we know your name.

Cynthia Rodriguez has retained legal counsel and intends to file for divorce from New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez on Monday.

C-Rod has hired Houston attorney Earle Lilly to head a team of lawyers, including Maurice Kutner of Miami, in a big bucks and sure-to-be bitter divorce case against her husband, A-Rod.

Lilly confirmed his hiring and says he was retained within the last week.

The divorce case will be played out in Dade County (Fla.) Family Court.

The suit cites a "long period of infidelity on the part or Mr. Rodriguez, an all-star baseball player for the New York Yankees." It also claims "emotional abandonment."

Strike three, you're out!

And I will never watch "One Tree Hill" again.

    Why?

Because Kevin Federline (also Britney Spears's rodent-like ex-husband) is doing three episodes where he plays a struggling musician whom one of the characters will try to help.

    Bleck.

He is a terrible rapper, father, person and actor.

In other more important and far better news the rumors about celebrity pregnancies today include Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carey. The couple have been seeing each other for several years now and Jenny is constantly gushing about how great Jim is with her son. Wowzers! I'm excited for thems if this is true.

Please don't ever say to me that someone is an autistic child. That's not the order in which a disorder should be prefaced. They are a child first, so say a "child with autism."

Anyway, Jenny McCarthy's son Evan has autism and she has been speaking out about the disorder in order to raise awareness.

When a neurologist told her the diagnosis, she said, "I believe my son is trapped inside, I'm not settling for this... I'm gonna get him out." Since then she has been researching and speaking to the public openly about what she and her son have endured.

I think it is brilliant that she is taking a stand and vocalizing her concerns. It is a shame that people don't listen if you don't have the money and the means as Jenny does, but that is beside the point. I really hopes this causes more researchers to look into the autism disorder and make more sense of it.
"Beyond doubt it was written in the stars that Jim and Evan were a pair," the 34-year-old actress tells People magazine in its Oct. 1 issue.

"He's actually helped Evan get past some obstacles I couldn't. I sometimes call him the autism whisperer. He speaks a language Evan understands, and Evan feels safe with him."
I knew there was something more I liked about Jim Carrey than I previously thought. The couple will do worlds of good for Evan and other children who have autism. I can feel this is the start of something big for the disorder.
