Who is Ashley Tisdale's inspiration?

"My Best Friend's Wedding was a big movie for me - Julia Roberts is what made me go, 'I want to do movies for sure,'" said Tisdale.

"I grew up in the business since I was three years old so I've always kind of been in front of the camera and grew up in commercials and I knew that I wanted to do it no matter what, I just loved it."

"Twilight" saga star Ashley Greene had an extra bounce in her step Sunday night, when she attended the Teen Choice Awards. For the first time, she had been nominated for something by herself - Choice Fresh Face Female - an award she would take home before the evening was over.

When we caught up with the 22-year-old beauty on the red carpet, she was eager to talk about getting some recognition - and the work in "New Moon" that seems certain to raise her profile even higher.

"[The only thing I've been nominated for until now] is just ensemble," Greene said. "Oh my gosh, it's so cool. I got the phone call, and I was like, 'Are you serious?' It's exciting."

Vanessa Hudgens has revealed what she wants for her 21st birthday - a surprise party thrown by her boyfriend Zac Efron!

The actress says she would love nothing more than having all her friends and family around her on her special day and has been dropping hints to her beau.

"I'll be twenty-one in December. I'm hoping someone will throw me a big party," said Hudgens. "I'm just like 'someone throw me a party' because I haven't had a birthday party since I was like nine years old so I think it's about time."

GMTV presenter Andrew Castle has revealed his 16-year-old daughter "almost died" after taking Tamiflu after being suspected of suffering swine flu.

Former tennis player Andrew was talking to Health Secretary Andy Burnham this morning when he made the alarming revelation.

It comes as calls grow to stop children taking the anti-viral drug because of potentially dangerous side-effects.

Oxford researchers yesterday released a report saying the drug was too strong for kids and could do them more harm than good.

    Actress, mother, greeniac...designer?

Julia Roberts has signed up to help raise money for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria by designing a T-shirt for Giorgio Armani's (RED) label.

The Global Fund was started by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 and has already received over $110 million from RED-brand apparel and events.

Julia's design simply has the words, "revolution. evolution. devotion" arched over a tree of life that Roberts' herself created.

Pop star Pink would rather adopt a child than give birth - because there are too many people in the world already.

The singer, real name Alecia Moore, and first-husband Carey Hart split in February. The Trouble hit-maker insists she hasn't given up hope of having a family - but would rather "rescue" a child through adoption than have one of her own.

She tells Star Magazine: "I don't know if I need to have my own (children). I rescue dogs, so I would probably rescue kids. I feel like with global warming and all, why produce more? Foster parent. Adoption."

Hmm, well as long she she thinks rescuing a dog is comparable to adopting a child than I say, "KEEP HER AWAY FROM THE CHILDREN!"

Saturday Night Live alum David Spade, 45, is now on diaper duty! Jillian Grace, 22, delivered a baby girl in Missouri on August 26, the actor's rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com today. Her name has not yet been released.

Well, that was fast! Desperate Housewives vixen Nicolette Sheridan and Michael Bolton "amicably ended their engagement" only a week ago, after spending eight years of their life together.

'In East Hampton, I'm a nudist and I eat meat," Baldwin - a vegetarian - had said before my visit, expanding on the idea that he lived a quite different life on Long Island than he did in New York. "I shoot deer with a bow and arrow. I smoke the deer meat and eat it every morning with my eggs and toast. I am a homosexual. I listen to rock music, loud." We had met at his house. Baldwin was wearing sandals; his shirt was untucked. There was nobody else at home.

For those of you who enjoyed Robert Downey, Jr. in "Iron Man" you'll have another chance to see him this summer in his August movie "Tropic Thunder." Somehow I doubt it will be as big a hit as "Iron Man."

Tropic Thunder, doesn't sound like my cup of tea. The director is none other than Ben Stiller and his cast of comedic actors attempt to poke holes in the movie industry, spoofing everything from iconic action heroes to the embarrassing obnoxiousness of professional comedians to racial stereotypes facing non-white actors. This kind of satire is typically not something I find amusing. Sorry.

Recently, Gavin Rossdale was interviewed and asked what it is like to be married to Gwen Stefani. His answer bothers me, but was probably made as a joke. "It's like marrying three different people a week, because you never know who's going to come out of the bathroom."

One of the cruelest rumors I have ever heard from the land of Hollywood came about this week in reference to Ashley Tisdale. Someone started a rumor that the actress has HIV. If this had been true it of course would be very upsetting. It was said she contracted the virus after a stay in the hospital. She and her reps have said it is completely untrue. I feel extremely awful for her.

Julia Roberts' daughter has psychic powers - she knew her baby brother was going to be born prematurely, and even guessed the day. Rock on!

And...Clint Eastwood told Spike Lee he needed to "shut his face." It didn't go over well.
