Kate Winslet says critical acclaim means nothing if her parents don't like her work.
The British actress - who is up for a Best Actress gong for her role in The Reader at Sunday's Academy Awards - insists the opinions of her mother and father are much more important to her than those of her Hollywood peers.
She says, "My dad's an actor and he's very opinionated and has specific tastes so it's not always that they've seen a film I've been in and they have lots of things to say or are extremely moved.
The document, circulating on the internet, names Kate Winslet as best actress for her role in The Reader.
The list, which features an authentic-looking letterhead, also claims British film Slumdog Millionaire will bag the best picture and best director prizes.
Oscar organisers, however, have insisted the list is a fraud and that votes which of the nominees have won are still being counted.

Sienna Miller isn't worried about getting older.
The Factory Girl actress, 27, says she has lost sleep over the pressure to look the part of a leading lady but has now resolved to just be herself and not comply with Tinseltown's ideal image.
She explains, "Recently I found myself thinking, 'I'm getting wrinkles and things are wobbling - I should go to the gym'. Then I was like, 'f*** it'."

The Fast and Furious star - who welcomed daughter Hania Riley in April last year - says parenthood has turned him into unashamed big softie.

"You can't pull me away from my house as easily as you used to, because I've got a nine-month-old thing on me and it's heaven.

The George Lopez actress, Constance Marie and her fiance, Kent Katich, have welcomed their first child, a girl that they named Luna Marie. Somehow they were able to keep this news hush hush over the last 2 1/2 weeks! The little girl was born in Santa Monica on February 5th, and weighed 8 lbs., 13 oz. How were they able to do that? I bet half of Hollywoods actors and actresses would love to know!

Salma Hayek, 42, opened up on The Rachael Ray Show about her trilingual daughter and the ghosts that Valentina sees!
At 16 months, little Valentina is already trilingual! She speaks English, Spanish and French - and seems to have developed a sixth sense.
"Last night she saw a ghost. I'm convinced," said Salma, "Last night she woke up and her eyes were open. And she's looking at one specific point and she's going, 'No no no no, au revoir,' which means goodbye in French ... And she's looking at someone, but there's no one there.
I personally feel many children see spirits of some kind. I would love to say they are all good, but I know many children have seen things which are quite upsetting to them. Kids are very open, they have an open mind, they don't talk themselves out of things they can't explain. Ya know?

Kate Winslet would let Leonardo DiCaprio "physically harm" her during a scene if it made the movie better.
The pair - who starred together in the 1997 film Titanic and can currently be seen sharing the screen in new movie Revolutionary Road - share a "rare" friendship that enhances their chemistry onscreen, according to Winslet.
"When we filmed difficult scenes we developed a secret language of our own. With our history we could do anything without feeling stupid," Kate explains.
"I would even let Leo physically harm me if it meant making a scene better, and I know he feels the same way. If we didn't have this rare friendship, I don't think we would be able to show that chemistry on screen."

Steven Spielberg is filthy filthy rich.
Know why? In addition to raking it in at the box office, every year Steve pockets 2% of the gross box office receipts from Universal's theme park in Orlando. That comes out to a cool $30 million every 365 days just for "consulting" on park rides and attractions.
