On Tuesday, October 7th, Lisa Marie Presley and her husband Michael Lockwood welcomed twin girls into the world. They were born by c-section and both were a good size weighing in at 5 lbs., 15oz., and 5 lbs., 2 oz. The names of the newborns are Finley and Harper. Reports are that both babies and mom are home, healthy, and doing well.

Jerry O'Connell told People all about getting a nursery ready for twins with the help of his very pregnant wife Rebecca Romijn. He clarifies as well that it wasn't really a spare room that they cleaned out, but a room full of items that belonged to his aunt and uncle. The room also contained his much loved video games.

Rebecca is a great wife however and has already taught Jerry what having kids means. Bye, bye video games. He states, "So, I'm wondering what I'm going to do with my video game stuff. But, maybe that goes out the window when you have kids." Smart man...

Ringo Starr gets fan mail! Oh but also, the Beatles drummer gets so much of it, and has for the past 45 years, that he won't accept any letters that are postmarked after October 20. The Associated Press has issued an advisory about this, to be sure everyone has the opportunity to tell Mr. Starkey how much Yellow Submarine changed their lives or whatever.

The Black Eyed Peas announced that they are finishing their fifth album, The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies) next week, but despite the name will.i.am has already assured us that the band isn't calling it quits anytime soon. Sounds like Fergie is keeping herself immersed in work with filming for Nine and her music career.

President Bush's niece Lauren might be a crypto-Democrat. The niece of President Bush told W magazine, "[Barack Obama] is still so new. He seems like a strong leader. We'll see." HA!

ET confirms the news that Mark Wahlberg will FINALLY marry his longtime love Rhea Durham next year!

The actor told us tonight at the premiere of his new movie, 'Max Payne,' that he will marry the mother of his three children in a ceremony next August. The happy couple is dad and mom to Ella, 4, and Michael, 2, and a new baby boy, who was born only a month ago!

The Iron Man will soon have a new best friend! Don Cheadle will replace Terrence Howard as the superhero’s best friend, Jim Rhodes, in 'Iron Man 2,' says The Hollywood Reporter.

The paper says Tony Stark/Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., will reportedly have a new sidekick partly because a financial negotiation could not be reached for Howard to play the role.

The sequel will have Jon Favreau back to direct, and both Downey and Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) are expected to return and reprise their roles, says the paper.

The judge in the Britney Spears' conservatorship case ruled that Britney Spears' estate pay Jamie Spears $2,500 a week and allow him to lease a car while he handles Britney's affairs. The ruling was made Wednesday according to court documents that the press got a hold of yesterday.

    The AP reports:
Goetz also ordered Spears' estate to make a $58,800 payment to Samuel D. Ingham III, the court-appointed attorney who represents Britney Spears in the conservatorship case. She also authorized the pop star's psychiatrist to hire two other doctors and pay them retainers totaling $9,000 from her estate.

My hope is that he'll use that money to pay for her medical treatments and court fees in getting visitation back. If he doesn't, then he's just as much of a loser as the other men in her life.

    In other news...

And of course on the baby front:

The stars of Sex and the City have dropped hints about the question on the minds of all fans: what happens in the upcoming movie? "Something major happens that fundamentally changes who Carrie is," Sarah Jessica Parker told LOGO’s NewNowNext.
The movie "doesn't pick up right where the series ended," Parker says. "It's a few years later... it's so packed with stuff."

And in this photo of Katie and Tom does it look like he is forcefully holding her wrist? She needs to step on him.
