Sony Pictures Entertainment has acquired "The B Team," a spec pitch package for an Adam McKay-directed action comedy that will team Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as cops, with Chris Henchy and McKay writing the script.
Pic will be a co-production between Gary Sanchez Productions and Mosaic. Sony has not set a release date on the film, but it is expected to go into production as quickly as the filmmakers can get it ready.

I'm hearing reports that Jessica Simpson has fired her band, called off her tour and is taking a year off from the music business. I don't have any clear confirmations yet, but I would think this means things are perhaps getting more serious with Tony Romo, perhaps wedding serious.

Nicole Kidman has sparked pregnancy rumors after she wore a black loose-fitted dress to the premiere of Australia in Tokyo. She had her hands resting on her tummy. Kidman already has a 7 month old daughter Sunday Rose.
The rumors began at the Oscars but I really can't see her and Keith Urban having another kid this early. I mean he is preparing to tour and she's been crazy busy with her upcoming roles. For a bump to be showing now it would mean she's a couple months along, I just don't think this one is true.

Lisa Rinna likes being naked and thinks she's pretty hot.
"While I'm definitely a product of this mindset, I don't get all the fuss our society has over people's weight," actress Lisa Rinna told PEOPLE Tuesday night during Kate Somerville's skin care launch at the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach. "I am more comfortable being nude than hosting an event like this."
The actress believes she looks better now than she did at 34 when she posed for Playboy while pregnant. Well, she WAS pregnant than so I'm not sure she should compare notes.

Zac Efron visted the Mattel Children's Hospital in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon, and the actor spent time with the young patients and helped deliver gifts. We love it when celebs use their fame for a good cause, and we're sure the kids were delighted to hang out with the High School Musical hottie!

Lisa Rinna, is posing for Playboy.
Barf!
They don't even pay that much anymore - so she must really be desperate.

Although Gale Harold is expected to make a full recovery following his motorcycle accident two months ago, it isn't clear yet whether the 39-year-old actor will return to Desperate Housewives, the dramedy where he recently played Teri Hatcher's on-screen boyfriend.

Jim and Michelle Duggar clearly live by the philosophy "the more, the merrier!" Just in time for Christmas (what better time to spread this philosophy), the couple welcomed their 18th child. That's right. 18th!! The name of their reality show, 17 Kids & Counting, will have to be updated! On Thursday, Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar came into the world via C-section, weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

Jake Gyllenhaal looked quite lovey dovey with Reese Witherspoon as he celebrated his 28th birthday at Giorgio Baldi last night, but as soon as the duo made their way outside, it became clear that they didn't want their picture taken. So what's a celeb supercouple to do? Well, the restaurant owner came to their rescue by yelling and throwing eggs at the handful of photogs camped outside of the restaurant.
