Another look at the numbers tabulated by the Newark Police. These statistics are from the week of 10/23/2005 through 10/29/2005. You will see on this report that during this week there were 33 different types of thefts or robberies being investigated and 10 charges filed. There were 87 offenses being investigated that included assaults, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct (note that 7 of them were alcohol related). In total, 619 calls came into the police station during this week.

Once again I am asking everyone to please speak out against the violence that is overwhelming the streets of Newark, Delaware in and around the University of Delaware campus.
