Today a reporter and production crew came to my house and interviewed me about this website. A snippet of the interview aired on "WHYY Delaware Tonight" at 5:30 p.m. today, October 6, 2005. It turns out they also went to visit Chief Conway and interviewed him as well. The snippet is about one minute long, but it is thrilling because Chief Conway, soon to be retired Chief of Police with the Newark Police, actually admitted that my brother's assault never received an official press release. Admitting that fact is exactly what the community needed to hear, because if my brother's assault went unreported then I guarantee you there have been and will continue to be others.

It is important that everyone realize certain criminal activities are being hidden by the Newark Police and the University of Delaware. Why? Are they really so concerned about the city and school's reputation that they would keep silent about the overwhelming violence in the area? Because I would like to think that the safety of students and residents would be more important.
